Hi guys! We want a bit of feedback, Are we talking a lot over the anime or is it just enough?

Na, its fine... i watched it several times now, and its nice seeing how other people react to this masterpice... btw. Almost all character names, and some region names are German. The Names kinda discribe the personalities or regional traits. And most of the words are ambiguous. For example Himmel, it means Sky or Heaven... Sky for the everlasing presence that has and how it effects everyone, and Heaven for his almost holy presence. You should search for the names and find out the meaning behind them yourself... this whole Anime is a journey.. and an example of how good storrytelling and character writing can be... since hollywood cant do it anymore.

its a bit to much for me. because in this anime there are many details and moments you will miss if you talk a lot and not really paying attention

It's because you can FEEL that they have history behind every line. Like, you can tell that these characters have known each other for years and that they're close, while Himmel is also super kind and gentle all the time. The characters are written so well, you can't help but start to love them right away.

Frieren's first chapter is just an absolute masterpiece at packing so much emotion and getting you to care so much about its characters in just a few pages. Like I feel that if only chapter 1 was published standalone as a one-shot/short film it would still be talked about.

Dialogue in the show is very on point and almost immediately answers earlier dialogue. Try not to talk over the dialogue too much. just offering feedback, totally not complaining. :) Totally okay to pause and say what you need. 90% or reactors do it. Enjoy the series, its very special.

Month ago but this Anime and the reactions are timeless. This Anime is a tearjerker and even as a sceptic person say, Madhouse and the Mangaka/writer have done a perfect Medium.

All characters and locations have German names .... you can translate Frieren to "to be cold" ( "Ich friere - i'm cold") which fits with her struggle to understand human emotions. Even the other characters do have meaning: Himmel means heaven or sky, Heiter means chearful, Eisen means iron and Fern can mean distant.

My headcannon as the reason why Heiter outlived Himmel. Heiter is a priest, he probly used a lot of his spells to rejuvenate/heal/renew himself and he also lived a cozy life Himmel on the other hand kept going around helping and saving people and villages, never stopped working as a hero basically... plus that god damned horn emanating this evil aura probly didn't do him any good either. They were both 16 when they started their journey. They were 26 when the killed the demon king and returned. 50 years later himmel died. That brought him to 76 years old (looks even older than that) Heiter on the other hand managed to reach 100+ years and he was pretty damn good looking for a hundred year old man.

This anime is definitely amazing! The drawings, music, and voice actors are all at a high level! I guarantee you won't regret watching it! Enjoy till the end! *I'm using translation software, so please forgive me if the sentences are weird!

I hope you enjoy this anime, it is great! The first episode of this anime was originally planned to be released as a 90 minute movie but was instead changed into 4 episodes released on the same day. To get the full sense of the anime you should watch the first 4 episodes before deciding if you want to continue. That being said I believe you will like it enough to continue the series.

Ohh wow, we didn't know that, we anyways watched the first 4 episodes in one sitting, I think it's safe to say that we'll definitely finish this anime since its absolutely amazing!!

@@ChillihNesa The upcoming episodes (7-10) also should be watched in the same day. Even though you can post your reactions separately, the experience of the upcoming arc is better seen at one time.

@@ChillihNesa1-4 and 7/8-10 are indeed best watched in one sitting. Everything else is not meaningfully impacted by spaced viewing, but it is sometimes hard to not binge. 😊

If it feels like it ends in a strange spot, that's bc the first 4 episodes were released all at once and was meant to be watched together. I doesn't really detract much to watch them one at a time, just feels odd.
