I actually thought about this extensively, and while to this extent it may seem ridiculous (though I don't know much of Korean Law Enforcement tbf) even if they were to look into the mass disappearences, they most likely wouldn't have anything to go on anyhow, unless they found all their Squid Game cards like Jin-Ho (hope I spelled his name right), which isn't very likely, they would most likely eventually consider it an unsolved case with no answer, plus the nature of the truth is so ridiculous most wouldn't even care to entertain the idea unless they had personal involvement or significant evidence Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it's super realistic, this is just my thought process in the show's reality as we have to remember this is a show
@troyii43514 күн бұрын
That’s my point too. Really it’s unfortunate that more people from the games didn’t go to the police because at least then there would be more convincing evidence or justification to look into it. I also get that most of these people don’t have much if any meaningful relationships so people might not know they’re missing but it still seems a bit absurd to have a 455 missing people’s case arise all at the exact same time and no one puts it togrther
@de606returns614 күн бұрын
@@troyii435 it's one thing I'm glad they sort of addressed in the later season, though with a group of Loan Sharks and not police I suppose However, I imagine that though there were a few that did go to the police and were less hysterical than Gi-Hun was, most probably either wanted to forget the experience (in some cases before eventually coming back) or just assumed no one would believe them anyway, not that it really acts as a valid argument though
