I will say this until the end, there is above-decent musical directing in this movie. Multiple numbers either have cool choreography or move the characters around the set, there’s a constant flow, and that’s what you give an ABBA musical - I don’t see the need for much more; although, as a bonus, the cast has great chemistry imo

One of my favorite movie theater experiences was seeing Mamma Mia! It was the midnight showing, when those were a real thing, and we walked past the massive line for The Dark Knight to enter our theater packed with mostly women & a few guys. And it was amazing~~~ We all confirmed ahead of time, as we chatted before trailers rolled, that we were all okay with singing and dancing, and we just unapologetically all enjoyed ourselves^.^ Funny enough, the most similar experience I had was seeing Burlesque in theaters!~
