Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to go travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling, and we didn’t want to stop after just one year! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries and then all 7 continents (check out our documentary here: • 100th COUNTRY DOCUMENTARY , we had no plans to slow down, until 2020 decided to force us to ;) which is when we bought a converted Sprinter van to start exploring our own country for the first time. #Vanlife was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎

Hi Kara & Nate. I know you will probably never see this and I’ve never left a comment, but I just wanted to let you both know you know how you have truly changed my life. I picked up your videos a couple of years ago when planning & saving to travel the world (and totally binged them all) during that time you inspired me & your travel hacks helped me plan. 3 years of hardcore saving later my world trip starting April 2020 was cancelled ( Literally 1 week before my flight the UK locked down) I’m so privileged to have my health & be with family but financially this year has been difficult and at the same time I’ve felt so lost & down this past year. I’m 29 and I’m back to square 1. A few days ago, I found your channel again, started watching your van series & it’s moved me to tears. I feel like I sense of hope again for travel, that I can still pursue my dreams again one day and when things go bad don’t give up! I don’t know how I could ever repay you for helping me find hope in myself again. Im determined to follow in your footsteps and make my dreams a reality soon! I’ll certainly be a new patreon 👍🏽 thank you again, Han x

Love the video. One thing I want to mention regarding your Simply Safe system, it looked like you mounted the carbon monoxide detector high on the wall. Carbon monoxide is heavier than air, for your safety the detector should be mounted low near the floor otherwise the room will fill up with carbon monoxide before the sensor will detect the gas. Stay safe and I look forward to more videos.

So happy for you guys that you've been able to over-come the National Park issue! With some still not comfortable to travel or not affording it themselves ppl can vicariously live through you to see these destinations. Also you help bring businesses, and most likely Parks more business, as your freely advertising their locations, events, amenities, and experiences for others to check out! You'd think they'd see the Symbolic Relationship there, rather than trying to fine ppl.

There are many ways to see the sights of Yellowstone, but I like yours the best because it is a record of people having a good time rather than checking off points on a list of scenic outlooks. So I subbed and will be back for more. Just keep it real, and I'll be with you. p.s.due to age, disability, pets, and finances we are homebodies, so this is our way of seeing the world. To me, KZbin has opened up new worlds that I would never have experienced otherwise, and it is thanks to people like you who blaze a trail for those of us stuck at home to share some of the wonder of travel.

Hahaha. Perfectly put. I just love the way they love earth other. When he does that for her it never feels like an expectation on her part, to me at least. She always seems so grateful which is probably why he always seems so happy to serve her. It's a good lesson for anyone. My wife is just as sweet and grateful in the same way and it leads to me always thinking of little ways to make her happy. Probably why I like these two so much :)

You know, as an American, I'm always a little bit awed by the natural beauty of our country. It's sometimes easy to get bogged down by the details of every day life and forget how incredibly unique and gorgeous the US really is. All the times I've wanted to travel overseas (and I still do), this makes me really want to see the National Parks just as much.
