After working for a chiropractor for a year, I would encourage you to get a lawyer. Although you may think that everyone is okay now, a week or a month later may be different. This brought tears to my eyes and I pray for a quick recovery of the residual pain in the coming days. Coincidentally, I went to high school in the county you live in!

From personal experience, I can tell you that the driver's insurance will try their best to get by with a very LOW monetary settlement. Stick to your guns and tell them at the very LEAST you will NOT settle for anything LESS than the equivalent or newer of Sasquatch! I miscarried my first child after I was rear-ended while driving to work years ago. I don't believe in million-dollar suits, but you have every RIGHT to tell the adjustor that you will NOT "settle", but you will be fully recompensed for physical and mental damages. I am SO GLAD none of you were seriously hurt - it could have been devastating!! God bless you all!

Soft tissue damage/whiplash is no joke, and can last a LONG time. Being hit by someone is scary, and it can take some time to feel confident again. It can make you angry, too. Is the other driver okay too? They may be at fault, but we need to include them in our prayers for healing. Also, get x-rays! I was in an accident last year. Rear-ended. It actually twisted the vertebrae in my neck with the force and I needed extensive chiropractic care for 6 months. And I started thinking I was "fine." Even the ER said I was "fine." I was not. Incredible pain for weeks. Some injuries are invisible, and you won't notice them until the "soreness window" has passed.

Tears of joy that y'all all are going to be okay - and tears of sadness because Sasquatch is gone. Having been through that too, I almost cried again knowing the runaround you'll get from the insurance. Y'all please know you all will be in my prayers. Wish I could help but I can't. God and I are pretty tight though so I will be talking to Him about y'alls needs. I have seen a wreck similar to this happen to the truck in front of me carrying people I cared about. It is truly terrifying and bewildering, time passes oddly, and reality hits like a ton of bricks right down to your very core. But, you put out love into the universe and made these beautiful little people that brought their Mama some love and her first tomato in a time of sadness. That is the heart of life really - those beautiful moments of light - in dark and confusing times - where you can find things like a first tomato to tether you to each other and to the gratitude it takes to move forward. I am so very glad your family is safe and I am so sorry for Sasquatch. Cars are people too in my family and what a magnificent beast to have taken that load and sacrificed itself for your safety. I don't know if this helps - and you may have thought of it already - but in the past when I have had to say goodbye to a friend like Sasquatch, I have found bits and bobbles of the vehicle that I keep to honor the sacrifice and memories. And just to say, all that love in that tiny little tomato is now going to feed the new life your love is making :-) There's not much more wonderful than that in this world I think!

Praying for healing!!! My daughter and her husband were in an accident this last December. The guy hit them from behind in a “Lamborghini” going 120mph. It air lifted the car and spun them around sever times before it landed. Her husband had a broken pelvis and my daughter had broken ribs. The reason I’m telling you this is because some of my daughters and husbands injuries didn’t show up during their initial exams at the hospital. It wasn’t until she kept having pain with her neck (new xrays) that they finally found she actually had a fractured neck. They also found that her husband had a tear in his aorta to his heart. PLEASE!!! if you still are having pain several days later PLEASE go back and get rechecked. Of course this includes the boys. Some times things don’t show up right away. Love you all❤️🥰❤️

@@rassziggy i would be curious about the other driver as well they hit a VERY large vehicle and did that amount of damage! how fast were they going and are they ok? as for who covers the bill, it would be the other driver as they ran a stop sign (per what Ben said) and t-boned them. if they dont have insurance and you have full coverage on your vehicle then your insurance would pay and go after the person who was at fault for the accident to attempt to recoup the money from them personally

I've already, instantly upon watching the video, felt the Lord's inner nudging to find a way to send a love offering. I was in a serious T-bone crash back on 6/6/96. Thankfully, I was in my ex-husband's GMC Sierra and not my casket on wheels Nissan 240sx. The passenger door's steel safety bar took the impact. Yes, like Sasquach, that truck did save my life! A year and a few weeks later, a brain aneurysm struck (7/18/97). Given less than 10% chances, The Lord had other plans for me. Please, let me know where/how to help this incredibly inspiring family. Sending big love and prayers for total and complete restoration to each one of you as well as your vehicle needs.

Oh my goodness, I am sooo thankful y’all are ok!! God is so good!! I was t-boned 10 years ago by a huge Uhaul truck while driving my Expedition. She was totaled and we all walked away without a scratch 🙌🏼 HOWEVER, within 3 weeks I started having an excruciating pain on the left side of my face. Turned out I sustained a pinched nerve at the base of my brain stem, 10 years and 2 brain surgeries later I am still suffering. PLEASE, do not be in a hurry to sign of on any insurance settlement until you know for sure that you all are really ok. Prayers for you all🙏

I lost my daughter in a car reck several years ago and her car didn’t look near as bad as yours and she and another person lost their lives i was in one several years before my daughters and I was in the hospital for 3 days I remember all the emotions it totaled my car. when I saw the car I was very grateful to be a live. I believe your angles were watching over you that day. The most important thing is your both are alive you babies are ok and you still have each other. I’m so sorry you have to go through this. My prayers are with you and I’m happy you are all well and hope the recovery is quick.

Same thing happened to me a week ago. A Girl pulled out in front of me on a highway. I tboned her going 65 with my 3 babies in the car with me. Such a scary situation. We all walked away and Im glad all of you walked away too.

Glad everyone is ok. My daughter and I rolled about 7ft into a creek when the edge of our dirt road gave out. We were also fine but the car totalled. The scariest moments for me came after when those "what could've happened" thoughts started creeping in. Just have to take it day by day.

Having been thru this type of accident at about you ages, I ask even plead with you to give your bodies time to see if there are any hidden injuries that will show itself after the general aches and pains have had a chance to subside. You won’t know if their is unseen injuries to the unborn child so the baby should be covered until they are 16-18?..majority age? and they will want you to sign off on the medical quickly... don’t do it..take a year on the medical and just do the auto replacement portion not the medical.. prayers for you to have the energy for the farm and food prepping in the coming weeks.

ABSOLUTELY!!! Do not sign off on that medical until you are 100% sure everything is fine- and has been for at least a year. problems can show up many months after auto accidents. .... The brother of my neighbor had an on the job injury... workman's comp was wanting them to sign off quickly... brother was having lots of pain and healing issues... it ended up taking a couple years before he was healed .... so thankful they waited.

Be very aware of your body. I was in a rear end collision. It totaled my car. It was almost 6 months later that I found out why my arms were hurting so bad, torn rotator cuff. To this day I still have back issues. If you start hurting get it checked immediately.
