You call Jack a "perfect husband," and yet you belittle him at every chance you get when you're with your friends and community. You deserve what you get.
@kylec3150
@kylec3150 Ай бұрын
Key lesson to all. If someone can't ask for something in a kind and respectful way they don't deserve it. Don't desperately work for the love of someone who doesn't treat you with kindness or respect. If someone does something wrong they have to own it and apologize so it's established it is unacceptable behavior. So Jack needed to enforce healthy boundaries and expectations. Let me explain the cycle. One partner wants to be loving but doesn't enforce healthy boundaries and expectations. The other partner selfishly demands something unreasonable. The loving partner gives in. The selfish partner then starts expecting it. The selfish partner demands increasingly more unreasonable things. If the loving partner argues the selfish partner gets mean and/or withholds affection and affirmation. Sometimes even if the loving partner doesn't argue the selfish partner does that to establish power. This leads to a problem where the loving partner is treated as worthless and unloved and disrespected. The loving partner instead of demanding reasonable expectations and boundaries(equitable distribution of responsibilities and treatment) becomes desperate for their selfish partner's love and affirmation. The selfish partner becomes less and less invested and loving and respectful of their partner. This often leads to cheating and or divorce but is poisonous and needs to end. To have a healthy relationship this cycle needs to be avoided. That requires both partners to establish healthy boundaries and expectations. This involves communication to ensure problems are addressed and fixed or explained in an open way without getting defensive. i.e. husband works and feels tired and notices house is a mess when he works all day. Wife who is home with kids took care of them and trying to clean while loving and take care of them is difficult and she is tired and wants rest. Proper communication can make them understand each position without getting angry or resentful. Most importantly if someone can't be polite and respectful with their demands they don't deserve them.

Only for her to then use her pitty-party as an excuse to get more validation on reddit by constantly posting "last updates" and telling off the haters... People truly don't change... And the sad part is that it's not because they can't, it's because they don't want to. She'll chase cheap validation forever because it's easier than putting in work for a healthy relationship.
