We Were WRONG About Ai Hoshino!

Personally, I agree with you. Ai Hoshino is just an ordinary human being trying to get by. To me, according to her past, she unknowingly and unintentionally caught the attention of a man who was dating her mom, which resulted in Ayumi becoming jealous of her own daughter to the point of hitting the poor girl. It's possible that Ai was the result of a one-night stand, just like how Aqua and Ruby are the result of Hikaru and Ai's one-night stand, even though Hikaru and Ai used to be boyfriend and girlfriend before their break-up. After Ai left the orphanage and was found by Ichigo who was scouting for young female middle students to be Idols, he convinced her that saying “I love you” to her fans was ok, even if those words were fake. This caused Ai to not only accept the position of being an Idol, but also believe that lies were a form of love. She wanted to understand that feeling. Before she met Hikaru, Ai acted selfish and immature, even gaining the jealousy of Fuyuko Nino. *Yeah, that's actually Nino's given name.* After she met Hikaru, Ai became mature and kind, even if her kindness was awkward. We don't when they met, we don't how they met, and we don't know why Ai broke up with Hikaru. What we do know is that they used to date each other in secret since they used to go to theater class together, and Hikaru was the one who got Ai pregnant. After Ai gave birth to Aqua and Ruby with Ichigo and Miyako helping her raise the twins, she began to feel the real warmth of what love is, even though she didn't notice at the time and was fearful that if she said “I love you” to her twin children, those words would be nothing but a lie again. It wasn't until in her final moments that she realized what love was and felt relief for being truthful when she did say “I love you” to Aqua and Ruby. And the rest was history. With that said, in my mind, I'd like to think Ai met Rebecca Welsh from Rumble Roses before meeting Hikaru. Ai and Rebecca are similar due being abandoned when they were young. Theo only difference is that Rebecca, who was born in Canada, was taken in by a kind nun and raised at an orphanage. Rebecca is also the lead vocalist in an all-girl punk rock band called “The Killer Bambies” and as a participant of the Rumble Roses tournament goes by the Heel name of Candy Cane. The only reason Rebecca entered into the Tournament was to win the prize money to save the orphanage she grew up in from being demolished. Rebecca would be Ai's only real friend due to similar hardships, albeit with differences. Their relationship would blossom into something that would be considered platonic love. As for Hikaru, I'd like to think of him as similar to Kotoko Utsugi from Danganronpa: AE. But at least the latter realized the errors of her ways and made peace with her past.

It's such a shame that Ai Hoshino had to die. It also reminds me of how an Idol named Sayaka Maizono (Danganronpa) died after being stabbed with a knife.

I sure hope Hikaru Kamiki will eventually get his Laser-Guided Karma someday in the future. However, instead of killing him, I think maybe Aqua along with everyone who wants his head on a platter should just have him exposed for all his crimes (For example some type of Engineered Public Confession) and bring him to justice. I thought of this from knowing how there are heroes who aren't willing to kill the bad guys because it's crossing the line, because their not worth it, and/or because they believe that killing a villain will make them no better than them. You know like Justice League (DC Comics), Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist), and Shido Itsuka (Date A Live).

Does anyone know about the Wake Up, Girls! Anime series? Well compared with other anime about idols, Wake Up, Girls! illustrates some of the uglier sides of the business, including small-time performances with low attendance and even harassment during some performances. But I think it's more or less small-time compared to Oshi No Ko (Anime) which shows the seriously darker and edgier sides of the entertainment industry.

Shield Hero s3 finished a while ago, but do you think you could make a video going over the last episode. As an anime only, the plot of the episode was out of nowhere with no build-up. I'd like to know the thoughts of a manga and / or Ln reader like yourself. Even thow there was nothing really wrong with it, I can't help but feel like it skipped over a good amount of information. Keep in mind that I did like the episode, and the cliffhanger really kept my attention, but as I said, the events felt incredibly out of nowhere.

You have reminded me of a pair of nagging questions for which I have no answer. Who was Ai Hoshino? And who is Hikaru Kamiki? They were closely linked, at least physically. But emotionally? Someday some Psychology Major student will have a juicy Doctoral Thesis about these two. Maybe even juicier than the thesis about Severus Snape's character and motivations. tbh,i disagree totally with your perspective, i have 2 theory that Ai was also a reincarnated, in the starting ruby and aqua said that she was chosen by the entertainment goddess ie child actor with white hair to play the role of the morning star(just this much). 2nd the entertainment goddess ie that child actor playing role of aqua and ruby is actually ai, she played the role of ai to orchestrate such events she says that they were always this cute to me we only see the crow panels tho but i think she wanted to see them even more so she reincarnated them and herself and started what we call oshi noko.
