Excellent video on glute med weakness/injury/instability. No joke, this type on injury hurts bad and takes forever to heal. Thanks for the great explanation!

I always thought tenderness and pain was coming from my TFL. Until I did some of these exercises I realized it’s all the glute medius. -Chris

TFL is an internal rotator of the hip, so if this muscle is "overactive" then why is his left leg externally rotating?

Lol, the music. completely out of place.

Wondering: could the glute med problem manifest itself in hip pain? While running, the crowns of either/both hips will tighten up and end up so painful that I have to stop. Only rest, ice, heat for a week or so will relieve the pain. But it comes back.

Do people seriously not understand that her entire ‘knowledge’ consists of sentences she memorised from a physiotherapy text book? Muscular pain is a physical manifestation of mental/spiritual suffering. And this blondinka is like ‘durrr it’s cos of an imbalance in the glute meed’, and the patient is like ‘why have I been trying to fix this for 10 years and it doesn’t get better even though I go to the physiotherapist?’ I used to think it was a tragedy that people can’t understand these things, but now I know, it’s a comedy.
