Part of the intrigue and mystery in MO1 (which I know failed) was not having all of the information you are asking SV to add as sliders, or % or whatever. You had to test everything, and record your findings, which you would share with your allies, or not. I guess its a new era of MO, but I also don't think its the end of the world to have a 'slider' for every stat visible to everyone.

i completly agree back in the day it was okay for an mmo nto not show weapon damage or stamina drain or whatever stuff but in todays world of MMOS is different and the players also expect often more convinience eeven in a hardcore game. Imagine tarkov without all the quality of life patches or without knowing wich bullet type killed you. People were mad at tarkov before this patch like hell.

i disagree absolutely, completely; MO is just another spreadsheet game because too much info is given to the players; everything should be like the crit chance - difficult to test and ascertain, different players with different opinions, etc; moreover, everything should have randomness added - weapon damages, stats of crafted items, etc; this is not only more realistic, but it also leaves players uncertain, never comfortable; this prevents a long-term game from becoming boring; it's boring if everything is knowable and you are sure of everything

In other games, crit chance means extra damage as if you'd hit a vital point. MO2 doesn't have a crit hit but a weak spot hit as if you managed to strike your opponent's armour weak point (ie: the joints between the plates that existed for mobility purposes or breathing - armpits, back of the knees, palms of the hands, visor) which was a real thing in medieval fights. This means your attack isn't stronger in damage, but in reality it's bypassing armour so the damage difference between a normal and a weakspot attack should be much more noticeable vs a target in plate armour than vs someone wearing cloth or naked. That's the logic why hammers don't weakspot (you can't use a hammer to "slide" it into the armour's weak points). Fun fact: the German school of fencing actually had techniques using a longsword and dagger that focused exactly on hitting these spots, so you should have a higher weakspot chance 😂

I get your frustration but weakspot is not a crit, its a chance to bypass armor. Now, should there be a seperate crit chance? Maybe. But a hammer should not be able to bypass armor, it deals good straight damage as it is. A dagger can find a weakness in armor though: hence the weakspot.

Dagger are not balanced right now. Going mercy dagger is not worth the base dmg is to low and your hp and str ends up being to low. Plus the range on dagger is busted with the dysynch with higher ping I can stab someone dead on when i played and it would still miss. Its a shame because it could be a really run assassin type playstyle.

adjust bows- bows are so forgotten (material doesn't change the look... only 3 arrows...) Headshots are so hard to control. make weakspot chance on headshots 2x the body chance..,..

Daggers with weakspot are broken for PvP, they already had their window of being overpowered for over a year. They are terrible gameplay for actual PvP. They nerfed them and they are still fairly powerful. I want to say on a veela veela with mastery and a meta risar risar dagger it is around 11-15% weakspot chance. Which is still pretty good considering you still hit pretty hard on steel even without hitting a weakspot. Please never let them come back. I do want to see mage damage and thursar damage come down a bit though, the time to kill is way too fast right now after mastery + access to trinkets. Would be cool to see you do a video about mages / thursar damage after the mastery release and easy access to ruber+ trinkets in all the new dungeons. The power creep is insane and ruining end-game pvp.

Many things make no sense in mo, see mounted combat. Hitting someone with a club on a naked head, should make the hit critable. When sword thrust can crit, spear thrust should crit too. I mean even axes are sharp. Sharp weapons should be able to crit through cloth armor. So at the end, making all weapons critable seems to be the best way

Headshots on non NPCs are so hard, they aren't viable, it's hard enough to just hit some of these jumpy footies... and where are the teased parry bows?

Personally I hate all the RNG aspects to fights be it wealspoting, resists or the old interrupts on magic. Imo all of that should be removed/reworked. For example once the weapon skills come out, I would completely remove weakspotting from all weapons and insted add it as a default weapon skill that all weapons have and add some different conditions for the attack so that its not OP, like a delay or something etc.

Personally the thing that I hate about RNG in this game is that it's true RNG instead of something normalized to not happen in series or with long periods of not happening.

What's strange is there was a smaller map in MO1 with 1000 players but I still see more people in MO2 no matter where I go
