I have to warn the quality control on Demobaza is all over the place. I've gotten a few dresses from them and I've received some stuff that looks completely different in person (like much longer length than in the photo) or things that were sewn like they were from Wish, except I paid $400 for it and had to resew it myself to have seams line up. The clothes are really really cool though there is no one else really making these kind of extremely dystopian cyberwear/techwear. I always get a ton of compliments when I wear their pieces I just wish they took a little more time with quality control.

I disagree, this is a very common aesthetic for the Burning Man crowd, and there are multiple sellers doing this better, and for cheaper, on Etsy. It's very cool, but it isn't completely unique-and that's a good thing, we don't have to encourage Elon Musk/Grimes in their nonsense 😂

The thing is.. you could wear some of this clothes in your every day life. Like the bodysuit with a black miniskirts or a simple t-shirt and jeans and then the flowy “cardigan”. Even the “jeans” with a simple t shirt and a blazer and some booties. This is not my style but I LOVE IT!

I love how none of Alex's friends are surprised by her whacky antics when she tried to do some kind of outfit reveal lol. I've had a bald head for years because of a medical condition called alopecia (although it's been growing back with a new medication) and GIRL, let me tell you the amount of time it saves in the mornings and after showering. I've always loved short, low maintenance cuts due to that reason lol, short hair looks so good on you and I think shaved would too! I don't think it looks bad at all on women and plus if you decided, you could also have fun with wigs if you still wanted to keep trying out different styles (maybe even make a wig wish haul video haha). If you decide to take the dive, definitely experiment with a side shave first, maybe even with some cool cute designs shaved in as well!

As a cancer survivor I can say not everyone looks good with a buzz cut. I looked horrible and even worse bald! But I loved the pixie cut I got a few years ago. I takes my hair forever to grow though. I love Alex’s cute bob cut. She looks great no matter how she wears her hair!

I had my scalp frozen during chemo to try and preserve some hair. Partly successful. Ended up with a tonsure. It was a look. And my hair goes so slowly and is so fragile. Unbelievably frustrating. Hope you are doing well.

@@dees3179 that’s so interesting my dad when first diagnosed with cancer had greying hair and when he got off chemo his hair came back thick and ginger (he only had that hair colour when he was a kid) and we were just so amazed how it did that. during watching this entire video, i was thinking about how you could go thrifting and use older items you don't wear as much and distress them and bleach them and add sewing components like ribbing or pockets or just asymmetrical designs and make a super cool post-apocalypse themed video or series of videos. post-apocalypse/sci-fi is one of my favorite grouping of styles in existence. it could also be a good way to continue to learn how to sew more in more abstract ways. there is potential here.

I wonder how pastel clothes would look if made post-apocalyptic... It's not like dyes were invented in modern times, natural dyes have been used for thousands of years. First clothes in the dye solution were rich in colour and for rich people, and as the end result progressively faded the cloth became cheaper. I bet powerful people would want powerful colours in a post-apocalyptic world, hence there would also be faded, pastel colours available.

Thriftmas story: Today, I was walking past a Break charity store (a.k.a thrift store in UK terms), when I paused to laugh at this silly-looking duck decanter in the window for half-a-minute, only to notice that, sat just behind it, was the most beautiful red leather/pseudo-leather satchel with the most adorable bow on its lip in the world. And! It looked as new! I stared at it for so long that my mum went ahead and bought me it for Christmas (because she hadn't got anything for me yet). I love it so much and I can't wait to open my present on Christmas day to find this inside!
