Ignore the hateful person I didn’t hear complaining. I saw a cool couple making everyday count. Your videos are so much fun. My Casita should be delivered by early next week. I can’t wait to get out there !

Thank you for sharing! Not only are the view amazing but I am falling in love with those Casita's! Your tidbits of advice were fantastic especially about the lift. I am adding that to my must haves desires list when I am ready to get my own.

I'd love to know what camera/lens combination you were using to make this. The way the dogs ran up to the camera and everything remained in focus was impressive.

Hi! I was using my DJI camera on its tripod. This was one of my favorite videos to film! Thanks for watching.

Thank you for sharing, nice pleasant trip to the desert, vert relaxing trip . You are pretty brave or you keep a watchful eye on the weather. I have done a lot of desert camping over the years and one thing that I have learned is that the weather can change very quickly. If it had rained during the night while you were camped on the dry lake, you would have had a difficult time in the morning. Luckily it didn't, happy trails!

Yes! I kept a very close eye on the weather as that was a big fear! Getting stuck. That is the reason we camped close to the edge. Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment!

Thanks for showing the rough rode. I just got the shock kit from Little house on the road. It took me a little over a year to get it. We found even normal highways bouncing our trailer around. Hopefully, we will have smoother trips. Thanks for this video, we will have to put that place on our points of interest.

Great vid! Awesome place to camp. Yes go with your gut feeling at truck stops. I spent 20 years as a over the road truck driver and I could tell you some stories...lol Be well and stay safe!

If it doesn't feel right, leave. Some truck stops are sketchy. Some are great. They build the Casita about 50 miles from us. We want to downsize and thinking of a Casita. Haven't been over to look yet. Was wondering how a camper that small was for a month vacation. Not to live in full time. Just vacation .

Hi! Thanks for watching. I think it would be fine to camp in the Casita for a month for travel. The key is you need to be organized! It is a cozy space but it can be done. Happy travels.

I’m looking at a Casita. I’ve been looking for a couple of years now. I was concerned about how comfortable I would feel just stopping and sleeping somewhere. You’re a good sport about the uneven road. My wife would freak out. We had a sideXside with a full roll cage. If the ground wasn’t perfectly flat, she would start getting worked up about it.

I have the lift also, then unknowingly added the 2 steps at LHOTR and it canceled out the lift.

Nice one this time! I've always wanted to do the Alvord camp. Now I just gotta figure out when. Was that the Madras Love's at the beginning of the video? I go by that all the time. Also, let's figure out a time to camp together. If you go to just about any of my vids, open the description, and scroll to the bottom, you can see an email to contact me. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Fascinating place! We are picking up our Casita next month. How is it with 2 dogs in such a small space? Would love to be able to bring our Newfie.
@ItsaKarifulLife5 ай бұрын
Hi! I will be honest with the 2 dogs it is tough and a tight squeeze. We don’t take them in every trip we do so we get a reprieve every once in a while 😃 I think with 1 dog you will be just fine. Thanks so much for take the time to watch! ✌🏼
