Got masterclass some years ago primarily for Timbaland (this was before he was streaming). I remember watching Deadmau5's class and it quite frankly was just him going through some of his old songs project files and saying why he prefers real analog gear rather than plugins. His ego is over-inflated the entire time and its insufferable. It doesn't come across as confident but as arrogant. Watched it all the way through and gotta say save your money. I got more value from Chris Voss's masterclass than almost all of the music related classes combined but even then I'd say just get his book and watch his clips/interviews to get the same information for cheaper.

Agree to disagree. I have a classical music training and watched the deadmau5 masterclass for insight from someone that I think, personally, makes amazing music, with no training. It was not revolutionary, but very helpful and insightful, and to this day, still better than much of what I come across on KZbin. I didn’t find him arrogant, but I’m English and phenomenally dry, so I might have less of an emotional reaction to assuming someone’s self-perspective from their behavior.

I would say making limited copies of sample packs actually makes sense, some artists want sounds that they know less people, or no one at all has. Its like beats, some people want exclusive rights. Limited licenses for sample packs makes sense to me, but for synths, virual instruments, or VSTs in general it feels a lot more scammy imo.

Weaver are you new to Cymatics? aside from a few co-signed vids they don't make vids hyping up their packs but do contests & the teaser vids. And the reasoning on their part for the limited liscenses is coz their stuff is Torrented almost instantly 😂 😂
