The problem is a lot of job postings request that you are a superstar at everything: graphic design for print and web, web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and more), photography, video shooting and editing, motion graphics, copy writing, web ads and analytics, social media... what else was there, it's absolutely nuts. So my portfolio has become a hodge podge of different mediums, because my career turned me into a jack of all trades master of none :^\

I've had a similar problem, and what I've noticed is that this turns you into a valuable asset for a certain kind of company. Small to medium sized companies that need lots of bases covered, startups, e-commerce companies, etc, for example. Design agencies also tend to love this kind of toolkit. So, I might suggest positioning yourself as such, and focusing your promotion toward those kinds of companies. I've also noticed that, if your experience in a given discipline is deep enough, they tend not to hold all of those other skills against you. So if a large company is looking for a layout person for InDesign work only, the fact that you also have retouching, vector art, and animation experience won't necessarily be seen as a negative even if those aren't skills you'll use for them.
