I mean I can kinda understand why parents would be confused or scared by some of these things. Especially when it comes up in the news. It feels like there's a new TikTok scandal every week. I can understand why parents would be worried about kids being on some of these sites or playing some of these games, but I feel like parents should also be more considerate and understanding over why their kids like this thing and if it's really that bad to them. Stuff like this requires a lot of understanding between the parent and the child.

I know for a while if you wrote it like fuhuhuhuck it wouldn't get tagged, same for shihihit. the filters put a lot of trust in the letter h for some reason idk what was up with that... but i don't think it works anymore and im certainly not one to check.

your birth date on roblox determines your ability to see discord links. if your birth date is listed as under 13 you cannot even see discord links on the website. 13+ users can, The parent whos kid/preteen who got on discord must've lied about their age on roblox to view a discord link and then lied about their age to join discord. on roblox's home page it shows under the username either 13+ or >13. this parent should've caught this but they didnt and then goes to complain about it being an issue with roblox whenever its not, its an issue with their parenting.

You need to take the "what you're recommended is shaped by what you watch" point back. You have a Twitch account which you've been running for years, you're probably subbed to a number of people. The "cleavage streamer" issue exists. They're recommended to every new user. It might not be malicious like Twirch isn't recommending it manually, just that it's popular so the algorithm has it at the top. It shouldn't be at the top, it shouldn't even be there but that's a different issue. Dumb recommendations by algorithms is a real issue that us long time users don't see. My country's "new user" recommendations on KZbin are full of weird snuff film quality "romance story" videos made in India. That's because a lot of guys in South Asia don't know or don't want to bother with a VPN. But I imagine when my mom opens KZbin, she wants to look for recipes or to watch TV dramas. I had to set her account up because she was complaining about "filthy" videos on her app right as she opened it.
