What an outstanding video this is for the beginner! I have never mastered holding my feeding yarn like this; wish I would have been show this method when I was younger and first learning! You're a very patient teacher Michael! Thank you for detailing this pattern so thoroughly!

Thank you Mikey. My granddaughter and I watch the series. I've been crocheting for over 50 years, but you are such a great teacher and I enjoy your voice and your way of teaching. I'll be making this for my granddaughter.

I really enjoy the fact that We have patterns for the Crocheted things that showed up in this series. I had already downloaded this pattern, fingerless gloves and her checkered vest. Watching you teach the slip knot was a trip down memory lane for me. I remember how nervous and uncertain I was. This is an excellent beginning tutorial. I have forwarded it to my friend who is trying to learn to crochet.

Love your instructions. I consider myself an intermediate in crochet but the way you describe the instructions is great! I basically struggled teaching myself since the age of 13. I sure wish KZbin and you were around back then. Bless you for making learning FUN!

Black yarn is a real deep end jump for a beginner 🤣🤣

Ain't that the truth! haha ut if you don't tell a beginner they will struggle, sometimes they accomplish a lot without the thought that it might be difficult before they begin.

For a true beginner I think doing the bright yarn like the video would be helpful. I’ve been a crochet/knit maker for a while and try to avoid black yarn projects (especially in the winter).

Back out of this tutorial and go to main page. Scroll down until you see just a picture of the girl’s head with the snood on it. Hit “more” in the description over the picture and click on the blue link at the end of the description. When I clicked on that link, my computer asked me to chose a program to open the link in. I’m on my phone, so I chose “Safari.” That took me to a list of patters by design. The first was a houndstooth pattern hat, but if you keep scrolling down the 4th item was the snood. Click on the picture of the snood, and you’ll either see the pattern, or you’ll get the link to the pattern. Hope this helps you.
