I’m just confused where I should put the tripod. I’m worried if I put it in the center of the aisle someone will have to walk around it/guests will get pissed off that it’s sitting there.. when you’re shooting an indoor wedding with a straight aisle what is your best method of combatting this? Love the videos by the way, subscribed!!

Hey thanks Chalayna! So i would put the tripod off center to the side, and then once the bride has entered, during a hymn or something, i'll move and reposition it into the middle, then cut that out of the edit so that it all seems smooth etc.

Hi there, random question. How do you handle battery management with one camera let alone 2. I haven't seen you dicuss this unless I've missed it. I have a Sony a7s ii with 4 batteries rn. Doesnt feel like it'll be enough (first time wedding since switching to this camera)

On 2 a7s2’s I was typically using 6-8 batteries on a wedding day, but I carried 10+ with me at all times just in case. I’m on a7s3 now and have 6 batteries for those, which is more than enough, they last a lot longer.

I like very much your minimalist style. I have the impression that very soon you will ditch the monopod as well, since you always use it not touching the ground kk. Well done mate

Yup. I only use it for ceremony, first dance and speeches now, everything else is handheld 🙌

Good job (as always) ! Do you shoot 4k ? When ? Which sd card do you use ? Thank you !
@AdamWingFilms4 жыл бұрын
Thanks henri! I don’t shoot 4K, just 1080p. 64gb Sandisk extreme pros. One in each cam is enough 👍

Hey Adam, I am new to the Sony alpha range, can you do a video on auto focus settings etc that you do for the un manned cameras (is it fixed already on the groom? or is it tracking the bride on her entrance?) and also what focus settings you use for the manned camera please? ie walking in of the bride for the ceremony, just wondering.... I notice you look through the peep hole on the camera and not use the screen.... is there a reason for that?

PS do you use a ronin (gimbal of any kind) or is everything you do on a mono pod or handheld?
@AdamWingFilms4 жыл бұрын
Hey man. I only shoot manual focus sorry, never use auto. For the back camera I have it on f5.6 and put focus on the front of the aisle, And for my main cam, I just focus by hand and by eye, hence why I’m always looking in the viewfinder (peephole 🤣) I don’t use a gimbal either currently, everything mono or handheld. Hope this helps
