@@FixNewsPlease I don't know if you'd call it a "snowy climate" but the Panhandle of Nebraska, as well as where I grew up (Western South Dakota near the Black Hills) definitely gets snow in the Winter. Sometimes a lot of it. My point was that people who live in that climate know (or should know) how to maneuver in the conditions brought about by ice and snow: they use snow tires, have deicer for keeping stairs and such passable for safety's sake, not driving beyond what road conditions are, etc. Doing those things, unless they are a total idiot, are learned quite quickly, and remembered, unless they have a memory capability of a goldfish or housefly. Those who were featured in the video were not doing what they needed to do to keep from slipping, sliding and falling down the stairs because of ice. Many of them were just, seemingly, in too big of a hurry for their own good, and not reacting as they should for the conditions. People seem to be getting more careless everyday.
