When I had a formal wedding, I have a color and asked each person to choose the appropriate range in that color to match their undertones and something they either had or would wear again. They were ALL unique and beautiful. Because I felt they were all great people and would nit do something inappropriate. It worked wonderfully and no one outshined the bride.

When I helped my Granddaughter find her Wedding Dress, my adrenaline was so out of control. I was so happy and excited. The store was understaffed and I was helping other brides as well with their dresses and suggestions. They seriously asked me if I would consider coming to work for them . I would love to, I'd work/ help for the great feeling and happiness of others, not money., but can't see well enough to drive at night,( night blindness), and it was a long drive. ( I'm 69!). I agree, but in another episode she overheard some clients calling her out that she wasn’t showing her face to them. So, she made it a point to show her face. Also, I agree the whole fakery of her compliments, but if you ever worked in retail or when you go to a clothing shop the sales associates will address you with enthusiasm (and yes most of the time it’s fake). I have had to fake being excited, simply because some days I just wasn’t having a good day.

When a customer says there is some wiggle-room, it doesn't mean double the budget and then some... That could easily be the difference between finding a dress in your shop or finding it elsewhere. As for the bridesmaids, the associate could have intervened early by standing up for the bride. Carmen's mom is amazing! I did Nutrisystem. It's alright. I did lose weight, but you're paying like over $200 for a weeks worth of food. I personally wouldn't wear black for a beach wedding. It would be too hot if it turns out to be a warm day. If it was indoors then yeah black would be fine, sure. The moment they started talking back. I would have fired them. No we aren't going through all that. You get with the program or you're not in the wedding. Keep their dresses with you at all times the only time they get them is when it's time to get ready and they do it in front of you. They can die their hair pink if they want, but the dresses will remain black.

Carmen, no need to feel "guilty" for being married twice. Totally get it out of your system. You are humble and beautiful. Stop looking back or trying to go out of your way to do things for your fiance. Do what you enjoy considering him as a partner. My bridesmaids were in long black dresses. I also split the price of the dress because they had to wear a specific dress but they get to keep it to rewear. They had a teal sash.

I would tend to agree BUT the bride is not paying for the two bridesmaid dresses! The bridesmaids have to buy dresses they dislike.

@@elaineculbert8594 My sister and I wore dresses at my brother's wedding that did not suit us at all (we are short and not slim, whereas her 2 sisters are tall and slender) - but we paid for them, wore them once and threw them away.
