@@jayayj5574 I did not mind Morticia, she was facing personal confliction through the show, so it is different from the Morticia of before. My main issue is Gomez, I was not feeling him at all. I am willing to give them a second chance as they can review the criticisms and improve upon them.

I binged the entire thing in one night, and let me tell you, it is a great series. The first 2 episodes are a bit slower and mainly relying on caustic humour and the insane strength of its main character to stay relevant, but from episode 3 onwards the plot explodes and everything becomes so much deeper than you might've anticipated.

Just something I noticed, even though Wednesday is named for the child ‘full of woe,’ she is actually born on Friday (the 13th) which also makes her ‘loving and giving.’ I think we will see more of that, going forward.

I have been practically just staring at Jenna this entire series so far. She's mesmerizing. She hardly ever blinks as well and I am just living. The show is great so far. The cast is stellar! Also, I'm in my 30s and I'm getting that feeling again that I had as a kid wanting Cher's entire wardrobe from Clueless. Now that I am a slightly bitter, no nonsense adult now, and my "fashion sense" is 99% composed of black, grey, and blue, I am livin' got Wednesday's wardrobe. The shoes are giving me my life and there are a lot of clothing pieces I'd love to be able to pull off. I'm going to finish my binge today. I can't wait to see what happens next! ❤️

I actually watched the entire season one back to back all in one go. My best friend called to tell me about another series I "have" to watch, I didn't even catch the name, I'll be digesting this series for at least three days before caring about other fiction. I want to be Wednesday, but I don't have that kind of emotional stability, I am way more like her roomie, also explosively dangerous when needed, but way to happy puppy the rest of the time.

As i said.. episode 1 was a tour de-force... everything was quick...now ye know... but theres plenty you dont know... the build up to the cello scene is genius and the scene itself is soooooo old skool and somewhat a missing component in modern tv... by that i mean the build up to that scene was developed.... then the scene literally just gave an in show advertisement of what is to come...its actually stunningly beautifully done... this is tv at its peak.... that 1 scene glued an entire pilot together and set in motion a seasons long story.. not to mention the cello was played absolutely stunningly by jenna who learned for the role... one of the best opening episodes of any tv i can remember... cello steals the show but its the scenes up till then that are why this is breaking records...

Christina Ricci deserved the Oscar nomination for best supporting actress for her portrayer of Wednesday at least and Jenna nominated for the Emmy. I still reckon that when she was younger Wednesday was a bit more perky Goth like she was in the 1960s tv series - the little girl who solemnly tells any visitor about how her dolls heads were cut off because they're historical figures like Mary Queen of Scott and Marie Antoinette, and smile while talking about her pet lizard Lucifer, her favourite pet spider Homer and pugsley's pet octopus Aristotle. This being before her poor little scorpion Nero was cruelly run over.

Episode 1 was somewhat of a tv tour de-force by episode 4 i was properly hooked... sometime after that i realise Wedensday was going to be special... at times after ep 4 i felt i even disliked her... till i didn't... massive shout to Emmy myers because she was the glue here and ended up bringing about one of my fav scenes ever the hug... i felt that a lot... and for the first time all season i felt i understood Wedensday as a charecter.. superb show.. everyone involved as to be proud.. that was imo true Addams...
