I genuinely adore Enid. I was worried when I first started the show myself that they were going to make her super annoying but she’s actually a sweetheart and does respect boundaries (when Wednesday backs away from a hug she doesn’t push even though she is clearly a very affectionate person). I also just love that she’s made friends with Thing and can understand them.

Right? She’s actually super nice. And very genuine. We had the same concerns at first but after Ep 2 we’re liking her way more 😃 Also Thing is fantastic!

Such a good reaction. You guys vibe so well together!!! As regards the not blinking, yes that was a definite decision to not have her blink. As you know, movies pretty much consist of just 3-5 second shots. But the soundtrack and dialogue that remains consistent throughout trick us into seeing a perfect continuity, such as Jenna never blinking. That is one of the wonders of film...an illusion that is perfectly suited to our perceptions.

whenever she's uncomfortable, in a situation she doesn't want to be a part of, or...fibbing, she blinks. very fast and almost imperceptibly, but she does. rarely, but it's there, like when she said " I don't have anything to get off my chest" she broke, don't know if that was intentional by Jenna, but the timing was there

I’m not sure if you all picked up on it, but the school is named after the line in the Poe poem ‘’the raven’’ and the teams of the boat race are named after stories by Poe, Wednesday’s are black cats after the story ‘’the black cat’’ and Bianca’s are after after ‘’the Gold Bug’’

I had a nightmare today. This was a good follow up. Wednesday has such an odd list of snarky accomplishments I thought I'd write them down on a rewatch sometime. It'd be fun to think of how they occurred or why. I had to let the idea slide for the first watch because I wanted to just stick with watching the show.
