She had the biggest, authentic smile, when her uncle showed up. All throughout the show, all she had was these real dark smiles and smirks. But when her Uncle Fester shows up you can actually see that is genuine happiness and elation. A part of her personality that she only reveals to her uncle I believe. She lets her guard down a bit and enjoys his company.

Probably because he is the one in the family most like her, I mean Pugsly and Gomez are both teddy bears, she dislikes her mom, and thing is more of a friend/partner in crime, ergo Fester with his violent streak and love of all things violent and creepy is probably the Adams she has the most in common with.

@@JJoh4040 They didn't mess up her personality or anything, they just made her character contrary. The show started off with Wednesday having characteristics of a Villain or an Anti-Hero. But later on, they made her the hero of the show. Wednesday is proudly willing to commit murder but yet she's against murder; that is a contradiction to her character. When writing has a flaw like that it will confuse the reader or the audience. Is she a Hero or a Villain? In the original Addams Family, Wednesday wasn't set up to become villain that was not the intention of Charles Addams. But if modern entertainment is going to make her a Villain or Anti-Hero do it in a way that is logical, where there is no contradiction to her character. I hope this helps

Well Gomez probably taught her fencing as well because he is known for it. Wednesday told it to us as well when she complimented him in prison for being a good father. But Gomez is a man of style and charm. He is the one who would accept a fair duel and sticks to the rules. We can see that kind of combat when Wednesday went fencing against Bianca. I think Fester is their other side of the coin. He tought her everything about the other side.... How to play dirty, sneaky and stealthy which is definitely more fun for someone like Wednesday.

@@bobbyshaddoe3004 I think it's because he is the one who is the most adventurous of the family. Wednesday rarely sees him. Besides that my guess is that he was the one that taught her everything about being stealthy and fighting dirty in contrast to Gomez who is a gallant fencer. Which means every time he is around, Wednesday gets her portion of the outside world. He is a natural at breaking rules just like her. She is the person she can mostly bond with out of her family although he is more outgoing than her.

The smileeeeee, The joyyyyyyyyyy. I know a lot of Wednesday's allure came from being disagreeable and unapproachable, but I liked having the isolated moment of humanity she had seeing Fester. It deepens the character a lot better than committing to a sense of mystery without answers.

The smile on Wednesday's face when she sees Uncle Fester is priceless. He turned out to be very helpful as well and funny as always. Uncle Fester is my favorite Addams family character he is fantastic. Kudos to the actor he is a convincing Fester, my favorite version of the character is portraid by Christopher Loyd and he is still alive they could have returned the OG Fester but nothing wrong with this one he nailed the character whatever his name is. I expect to see more of the uncle during season 2.

I definitely appreciate how he sounds like the 1964 Uncle Fester. Casting him with Portlandia’s Fred Armisen was a good choice too. Besides who they casted for Wednesday herself, this’s probably one of the few portrayals of the Addams characters that worked really well.
