Hearing Boone speak so passionately about the vikings team made this fan, who has been alive for all 4 SB trips, start to tear up with HOPE. Curse you Boone and Jeremiah for giving me hope!!!
@richardcampbell9892Ай бұрын
Slow your roll, Realize it was as the 6th choice. I empathize with Viking and Bills fans as an Eagle fan. with 3 SB losses. This is smelling like Eagles year. High power offense, #1 defense that is becoming down right physically dominant. I love Josh Allen but he won't be able to do what he did to the Eagles. I watched Vikes against Cardinals and Gannon blew that game kicking the FG, he needed the TD or give the Vikes a reason to kick the FG and go to OT. KOC is a hell of a coach, Flores is creative but still need better line play.

Forget about the Darnold vs JJ thing. Think about extending Sam because then you can trade him for draft picks whenever it makes sense to move on. JJ is the QBOTF. Extending Sam means KOC can chose when to start JJ, and Kwesi can chose when to trade Sam. It's a no brainer. Kwesi can afford Sam and still have more cap space than last year.

Enjoy the show so much I'm even willing to overlook Jeremiah's ties to the hated Cornhuskers. Got a "way too early" question. Preferably not the Packers because they're almost as hated as Nebraska. Thank you

I haven't listened yet but I hope you guys talk about how BS the hit on Trevor lawrence is. The Texans player is a captain and has had multiple games this year where he was hitting late, throwing punches or getting ejected. Demeco ryans said after the game that is not what they coach! yet this guy is out there doing this all season long.

Lamar's issues which you saw on display yesterday was he's som much in his head and battling with yhe perception of him. If he would've took off and ran on alot those plays he was pressured, he would've broke the spirit of the defense. But he wants to be viewed as all tge other QBs, problem is him not using his gits makes him easier to defend. If he would've gashed the eagles yesterday they would've had to adjust and tge passing game would've been easier.

The wording of the apology shows deflection, specially about the hit. You hear that a lot from people who feel they're supposed to apologize but don't want to admit any fault. It was well worded, but a truly shirt apology, making it all about himself instead of the person he injured with the dirty hit.
@DerrickRGАй бұрын
That clown blaming the attacks as racist and islamiphobic is where i immediately discredit the apology.
@sidelinesarahАй бұрын
So people will think Azeez’s apology isn’t sincere because of the fight right? If you can, take a look at that fight 1 more time… imagine being shoved by the opposite team backwards and you’re backpedaling towards their sideline. You’re about to trip because you can’t turn around. Azeez and Texans players are pushed down so he takes someone down with him. You can see players stomping on them. I didn’t see the punch from Jarian Jones (Jaguars CB that was ejected) but punches are thrown by Jag players… and then you have that weight on your shoulders because you messed up big time. I understand why his emotions were amplified being at an away game with the fans, environment, back against the wall mentality. I’m not saying Azeez was right but I want to put myself in his shoes. He grew up homeless living underneath a bridge in Tampa. I’m can imagine he grew up possibly having to defend himself and I wouldn’t be surprised if that instinct came out during the fight.
@sidelinesarahАй бұрын
Also I hate the lazy take (not from yall but national media) of what if CJ was hit?? They probably should do their research before opening their mouth. Google at your hands 😂 Ok, so that did happen. But Quinnen Williams wasn’t used by the NFL to make an example of. No flag, no fine, nothing. Jets vs Texans 2023 at MetLife, Quinnen Williams had a late hit on CJ that made him concussed/fencing. In Texans GM Nick Caserio’s press conference 2 days ago he said, “We can go to last year, Quinnen Williams bounced CJ’s head off the ground last year. No penalty, no late hit, no nothing. So we’re saying we’re okay with that hit!? This just goes back to the level of consistency.”
@sidelinesarahАй бұрын
Side note: What did yall think of Nick Caserio standing up for Azeez’s character? Does that do anything for the morality in the locker room?
@sidelinesarahАй бұрын
And when people want to bring up his history… fines are handed out like candy to defenders. Take TJ Watt for example, he has more fines than Azeez, so does that mean next one and he’s suspended for 3 games? Azeez has never been suspended or removed from a game. I understand a suspension but to uphold 3 ?? And the wording of that suspension coming from a dirty Jon Runyan if really rich 🤣 And then the appeal went to another dirty offensive lineman Ramon Foster who is a titans media member (the team that hates the Texans the most because of the Houston Oilers). Very very interesting. All of this.

The nature of rules around touching QBs and the way they're taken advantage of LEADS to awkward /'dirty' hits because defenses are scared to just tackle them its getting stupid how QBs are now playing a different game than the rest of the league

Shell coverage is how you defend Darnold. He is at his worst when he has time to overthink things. The longer he sits in the pocket, the worse the outcome for the Vikings. So, please blitz him and keep him on schedule. Skol!
@nickdarr7328Ай бұрын
There was an article earlier in the year saying Ben Johnson would have taken the bears job last year if it came open. Last year they had 2 first rounders but Caleb Williams is a big draw
@davidnelson6874Ай бұрын
The Bears should hire Mike Zimmer as head coach. I say that as a Vikings fan who wants to avoid seeing the Bears getting a quarterback whisperer as their head coach.
@jakethornton4856Ай бұрын
Tbh I feel like qb's are asking for these late hits to happen because they act like they are going to slide then don't or they wait to long to slide in the first place. If u watch the play Trevor is chopping his feet b4 he slides and with the other issue of qb's acting like they are going out of bounds then don't, defenders are tired of getting screwed over like this. I think they shud make a change where the qb had to double tap his helmet to signal they are giving up when they are in the open field or going out of bounds so there is a way for the qb to give up without getting injured and it takes away any opportunity for them to fake like they are giving up and then trying to get more yards.

And i also feel that only the ones that are willing to take a fine will bash the refs because you cant talk about them in post game pressers. After the games are one thing. What about during the games? Ive ner seen a "technical foul" in he nfl for talking ish to the refs like in the nba. During games do you ever feel that the referees are just totally biased agianst you/your team and how do those conversations go? Are you "allowed" to bash the refs during the game and how do they respond to ugly feelings from teams they throw lots of penalties on?

Guy's apology is bullshit. Man is using religion to deflect and he literally forearm shivered a sliding QB WHILE HE HAD A METAL ELBOW BRACE ON. Why he's even allowed on the field with an elbow brace like that and your not a big trenches boy there's a bigger problem there. Guy also didnt square him up for a form tackle there was malicious intent on that hit. He threw that hit and then tried to fight people and it took multiple minutes to get him off the field. He's a piece of shit and heeds to be out of the league.

Stop it with complaining about the referees calling too many penalties. Stop holding, and stop the false starts, and you won't see the flags. Lack of discipline, and guys trying to get away with something, are the problems
