Thank you for the video. Great progress Dear. I have tried losing weight for years with no luck. The only thing that helped me was keto diet. I am 2 months in and 22 pounds lighter! I was struggling at first to find what to eat because I don't like certain foods and it takes a lot of time to find meals for whole week. I did not want to eat the same thing every day. I started to progress when I found that you can get a personalised keto diet meal plan. After I got it there was no day that I cheat on my diet and the results are amazing! I just watched your video on calculating macros. I was getting so confused with people trying to explain it. Then I saw your video and it finally made sense. Thank you for leading me to carb manager. I'm starting my journey today. I am diabetic, have congestive heart failure and some kidney issues. But I am not deterred by any of these reports. I exercise 3 to 5 times a week. My exercise is great. But I need to put my focus on my intake. I just subscribed, been following you a long time but made up my mind to follow you more closely. You have had such great results!

This is a great idea for staying consistent. I started today back to low carb. Not gonna lie I didn't want to. But know I need to. Even when I go off for 6 months my Triglycerides skyrocket....need to get them back to a good number. And ultimately, I always feel better on keto/low carb.

Yay Jess that is great!! Yes it's mental but I'm with you on being consistent !! I done 30 jumping Jack's today I hate exercise. But I got a kindle book on burnout on stress ..she said exercise helps the stress. I want to learn that protein bread. I really am happy to be back on track going on 3 months weight loss has been slow...I'm 64 and stored insulin so it's hard...to lose but not hard to fast and eat right.

You can master eating out by reviewing the menu first and planning your selection. Stay far away from bread, fries, pasta. Choose a protein based appetizer or entree. Because restaurant portions are huge, PLAN on taking home half of the serving for lunch the next day. This way you can still enjoy a cooking break and not wreck your progress.

You're doing Colin DeWaay's diet breaks & refeeds, he is awesome on giving great advice for a lot of us who have been yo-yoing for decades. I've been mentioning this on here for last couple years. Stalls are our bodies adjusting to new composition. Great job. I cut w/ some strength training bow, then every couple of weeks or so if the mental game is getting shaky I do a diet break & keep my activity the same. Give ourselves Grace - its not a race! 🙏🤗🤘

Sounds like our weight loss journey is pretty similar. I’m making moving a priority, did a month of PSMF during the fall, stalled so then went up on my fats til this month. I’m incorporating lean days again and seeing changes in body and on the scale.

Thank you for the videos. I had lost 40+ lbs on strict keto but found it difficult to maintain as well. I gained back 20lbs and feel like I killed my metabolism. Some days I was only eating 800ish calories 😒 but I wasn't hungry. I like the idea of a maintenance week every 4th week. I'm pretty sedentary working in front of a computer about 70 hours a week, but you have helped motivate me to move more, make time to exercise and to fuel my body. Thank you for the inspiration! ❤

Wow you have hit the nail on the head....such great info! I am an avid Walker but love in Northwestern Ontario Canada where it is -34c and tons and tons of snow. Haven't been able to walk outside and I am getting tired of treadmill and walking apps. Have been doing a lot of shovelling, lol as when it is not -34c and it warms up that means is snows :( Good exercise however, I have also started to encorporate more strength training which I strayed away from but do not know why I did as I feel so good. I feel tight and lean even though it has been less than a week with the strength training. I so enjoy watching your videos and listening to your real life experiences ... thanks for the cheese wrap suggestion. I have seen these on Pinterest but have never tried, I know you can purchase them but unfortunately not where I live so this is great I am going to try tomorrow for sure. Protein, for me is a must, as it does keep me fuller longer and I too do not incorporate any more fat that necessary as I too have a buffet, lol. Keep up the good work and we will keep up with you.

I buy the preshredded cabbage slaw mix and always use that for spaghetti noodles. I'm going to try that lasagna. It looked so good. Have you tried Marie Emmerich's egg pudding. I use scrambled eggs and put a scoop of my chocolate protein powder in for the chocolate and sweetener. So easy and good.

I did the same with 1200 calories. I plateaued That was the amount of calories for a toddler. I had to reverse diet to fix my metabolism too.

Personally, I alternate high fat days, (protein lowered) and less fat days with more protein. It's a challenging to figure out what works. I think my body turns proteins into carbs faster... So high fat, lots of veggies, moderate protein - seems to be my sweet spot. Low fat, high protein, never got me much results. When I started adding lots fat, it was a game changer.
