I love granny squares too. I just made my kids their own stockings using the hexagonal granny square. It almost made me want to create my own pattern because it turned out so good. They even fit on my feet like real stockings 😂 😊

hey michelle! dice nerd here, you were talking about not having a die with 50 sides in the video for the granny square cards next year, but you do have a d100 (you use both the 10 sided dice at the same time for it) and then if its a number bellow 50 you just use the number as it is and if its a number above 50 you divide it by 2 to get a number from 1 to 50 (i hope i made myself understandable enough)

I'm loving this idea for an "advent" project. I need to get out my husband's dice next year and try it out. I really agree with you that it's a great idea for finding out different inspiration for color combos. And I love that you can do it using your stash and not have to buy a bunch of new yarn, so accessible

I’m obsessed with granny squares, too. I just LOVE making them & I actually have stacks - STACKS - of them…they’re even blocked & ends weaved in. No idea what I want to do with them as I’ve millions of blankets, lol. Do I stop making them, though? Nooooope. 😬 Love this idea for choosing the colors! Unique take on it (the cool/warm addition). So fun! Thank you! 😊🧡🧶 xx

Hey there 🤗. I was thinking as you were making your grannies "Your project (blanket I thought)is gonna be BEAUTIFUL!" Bc I love granny squares as much as you do 😁, and I loved your color combos 😍. Then when you said it was gonna be a bag-& you showed the panel as you joined them I saw that I was right 😂. Your bag's gonna be beautiful ❤️! They're amazing 🤩! N I laughed so hard at="Am I gonna undo the border back to fix the 2 spots that I missed -absolutely not!" 😆🤣😆Loved it 😂. No reason to IMHO. Noone will be the wiser if ya just fix it the way you described lol. Thanks for your videos! They're super entertaining and educational again in my opinion 😁.

I've seen those cards and I think they would be so fun! I love the idea of combining them with next year's granny square advent! Those cards also remind me of something else I've seen, but I'm not sure how well they would work with crochet. They're called doodle card decks by pacific knit company and it's like mix and match motifs!

The rose pink/burgundy/neon green granny square reminds me of a blanket in Hopper’s cabin in s3. I was just rewatching it and was like “man that’s a weird color combo” but then it grew on me… I may be making another Stranger Things blanket soon. 🧍🏼♂️

Aww, sad for the yellow/blue granny square. If the yellow was in the middle it could look like those sun/moon granny squares! Unfortunate, that yellow was the last color, not the first. Either way, love this challenge and how your bag looks so far, the black ties all colors together so nicely. Hopefully I can join in on the fun next year, when I'm not struggling to finish crocheting christmas presents ^^''

If you have enough of the colors of day 11 leftover when the 24 days end, you should do a granny square bag or scarf with just a mix of those 3 colors.

i love how it’s coming along! thank you for taking us on this journey with you ❤ your comment about how big it’s turning out and how it should have been a pillow had me rolling 😂 not again! lol also i loooove those granny square cards! i recently got a book to make crochet blankets with mix and match patterns and i can’t wait to start one. as for the dice, i’d say the easiest way would be to use a d5 (for tens) and d10 (for units), and then you just add up the numbers?
