I love how real you are. In 2018 I started my journey,lost 50 pounds and never felt better. Then all the things happened and I’ve gained 30 pounds back. 3 surgeries on my foot and now my back is out. I’m trying so hard to get back on track. I just wanted to say thank-you for your positive attitude and for your honesty that real life has it’s ups and downs.

Our summer plans are for many zoo trips and camping and hanging out at home. My husband works long hours away from home during the summer months so for this mama packing up and getting 4 kids under the age of 10 out and about takes alot so we are gonna do what we can to disconnect from screens and connect with the outdoors. This is going to sound weird. When your beloved doggie died, she left you a gift. She said from the rainbow Bridge 'be like me!' She is in your head telling you to take care of yourself. My beloved Jr terrier died after 14 yrs. He was my life. Literally. When he died, I put a framed pic of him on the fridge. I opened the fridge, looked at him and he said 'dont drink anymore' That was October 14th last year. I quit daily wine and now lost 24 pounds on a mainly meat based diet. Almost at goal after regaining my weight during covid. Listen to the voice of your beloved pooch!

I know how hard hard that is and yeah, our puppies remember us and in and they help us to go through large hard things that we have to go through each and every day when especially when we lose them because they are they’re never really gone they’re always with us and I’m so glad that you’re remembering that and is helping you to get through it so you take care and God bless we love you

I am doing a 12 week program low carb, a couple of the mantras "My body is not a bin" and "Progress not Perfection" if anyone offers you bread or carbs aka carbage, you politely tell them you don't eat them anymore as they don't agree with you, most people won't pry as they do not want to get into a discussion about your bowel movements LOL. If you take a greek salad or green salad with heaps of flavour no-one will question it. Greek salad: Spinach, kalmatta olives, cucumber sliced, red onion, feta, marinated mushrooms (if you can get them), cherry tomatoes halved, avocado and some roasted pine nuts or almonds, sprinkled with a vinegarette or balsamic. Green Salad: same ingredients but swap spinach for lettuce and fetta for grated tasty cheese and take out olives. Then just pick your protein.

Sadly the medical system isn't trained this way, and to be seen as compliant, you have to consult with these people to get what you want like tests, without their criticism. I stay away from these unaware people in the medical system but my son with a head injury doesn't feel the same.

I eat mainly meat - no issues with volume and hunger. The carnivore way is way easier for me. I love eating all of the food and fat and never having to say - I'm sorry I ate that lol. Sometimes I throw in a PSMF a couple of days a week for good measure.

Good tips!!! For me keeping busy is key. If im alone i feel hungry. I work out then go for coffee with my ladies and i dont eat. They all share treats at the cafe but i just say no...this way i can fast till noon.

What do you put in your Cottage Cheese Protein Drink? I can't find your recipe. Please post. Thank you! We are on the Low Carb Cruise in June. Lots of Keto foods on the ship, so I'm not worried. Lots of walking! We'll be snorkeling too. I just stick to my KETO journey during the summer. Electrolytes are a daily necessity. We use LMNT or Redmond's Electrolytes. I've been do lots of pumping iron. I'm trying to tone my body and lose body fat so I can get another DexaScan at KetoCon next year. You really should think about joining us at some of the Keto Community events throughout the year!

Yes; sometimes it seems like the message on this channel confuses the calories in calories out model with the fundamental change in metabolic function that comes with an actual ketogenic diet. Not saying everyone has to do one or the other, but would be helpful to clarify things a bit more and not call it "keto" when it is not actually keto. It can be confusing for newbies who are trying to make sense of all of this.

I love watching you because we started our journey about the same time, and I watched you throughout as I lost #40. I was able to keep it off for almost 2 years and then have had some uncontrolled stress causing me to loose my focus. I have had so much trouble getting back on track. My 44 yo son I live with, has been diagnosed with diabetes, good for me though, no crap food to tempt me😄 I hope he'll be able to stay away from the temptation to return to his lifelong poor diet. His cousin, same age needs a liver transplant and on dialysis because he has diabetes and doesn't control his eating. Relying on medication to keep blood sugar or blood pressure down ends badly. My son went to his dads for supper last night, they fed him burger on a bun and potato salad while telling him about the cousin with diabetes.🙄 You could end up with a lot of joint pain and digestive issues eating salad.
