The Vikings got better just by ditching Cousins inconsistent play and contract. Their defense got a massive upgrade at several positions and are now elite. On offense, they have 2 stud tackles, the best WR in the game, a top 5 # 2 WR and a top 5 TE (on IR). Why would you doubt the Vikings? Sam Darnold? OK.....2 for 2 with a QB guru coach. The Vikings are legit.

Cousins was not bad in Minnesota. The offense was good last year before all the injures. It's the defense that have flipped from nowhere. Ok, some good pick ups but the defense has really turned it around. I am so surprised. Thought the defense was gonna be the worst part of the Vikings.

You can say its a fluke or an off game or whatever you want but that shouldnt be happening from a top 2 team. It would be different if the 49ers already had a good record but this early on it is absurd to say a 1-1 team is #2 after losing to a middle of the pack team. Also the logic of rating the vikings so low because of jefferson and addison being "injured" (very likely to play next week or week 4) and then rating the 49ers high with multiple key injuries literally just makes zero sense. It's fine to have biases but to have them affect the ratings this much is not professional at all

When the Seahawks get their star players back from IR like Abe Lucas, Uchenna Nwosu, Kenny Walker off of his injury and other main contributors like Pharoah Brown, and Jerome Baker, everyone will see who the Seahawks really are and Geno's stats will hit the ceiling. These injured players are all suppose to return within a one to 3 week time frame. Yet, they are sitting 2-0 without these key players and will blow out the Dolphins who are ranked two spots above them.

Wow. The criteria for these picks change so much from team to team, you know they are just picking favorites and trying to justify it after the fact. For me a power ranking is a comparison of where each team is today, not where they were last year or even where I think they will be by the end of the season. For example the Chiefs for me would be ranked lower than the Saints or the Bucs because they struggled to win against a pair of 0-2 teams. I'm sure by the end of the season they will dominate, but I wont be suprised by a 3-2 record on their way to 12-5.
