Coming from a guy (which idk if it makes a difference) but you’re beautiful and there should be NO reason why you should feel bad about your skin. You’re smart, fit, and your personality is amazing! Keep being you! You’re unique and perfect and I really hope you read this! We’re your supporters Kris! :) Happy Holidays!

Ahh girl, it made me so sad to see you sad because I happen to think you're one of the most beautiful people ever and it just blows my mind that you feel that way to be honest. Thank you so much for bringing awareness to mental health, you're so inspiring in all ways!!

Kris your not alone with the acne struggle. I've been dealing with VERY unpredictable breakouts for a while now. Everyone's skin is different and your skin will work its self out. It's so hard to stay positive when this happens. You are beautiful inside and out girl❤❤ don't be ashamed of your skin💖
@emilyyg243 жыл бұрын
Kris, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I was dealing with acne for 5 years straight and every single day whether my skin was good or not it would dictate my mood for the day. I didn't want to, which is why I put it off for 5 years, but I finally had enough and went on a really low dose of accutane for 4 or 5 months, I'm still in the process, and I can say that my skin is clear and I'm feeling so much better. I'm also lucky to not have any side effects, not even dry lips. So just know there are always options and things will get better! Not to say go on accutane, but just that things can definitely get better when you find what's right for you regardless of what it is

I want you to know (and anyone) that I’m 30, and still have acne that flare up during that time of month and stress. It sucks, and it does hurt to know that your confidence lowers…that being said, it’ll be okay. Just keep doing your skincare routine and be the positive light you are!! ✨ Everyone goes through it but it doesn’t make you less of a beautiful person.

Kris, your videos have been so comforting and I definitely want to give you a hug after you opened up to us. I struggled with skin issues and skin picking for the past several years, it really challenged me to love myself for who I am and made me constantly compare myself to others way too much. You are so beautiful, inside and out. We are so proud of you for opening up! Sending all the love your way.

Your acne struggle is totally normal the week before and during your period. It is my case too!! You are not alone!! You are not your acne (you have to turn your insecurities into your strengths!!). I love you so much, you inspire me a lot and I want the best for you!!! I support you to the infinite

At the end of the day, people like you for your personality, your strengths, your caring heart and just you. Your biggest critic is yourself. I too struggle with acne-being 28 and still struggling with adult acne and hormonal acne. Tried everything in the books; it’s mentally draining. I feel you Kris! But you are beautiful with and without acne. Confidence is what you make out of what you currently have! 💕 be kind to yourself! ❤️

Hey Kris! Love your videos and how hard you work. Thank you for opening up to us. I've had mild/moderate acne for 5 years consistently till now and I've tried countless things. I'm on meds to help it and it sucks so much. I understand the struggles and insecurities. But you give me so much confidence when I see you going out with your beautiful bare skin. I still can't go out without makeup on and even with makeup, I hide my face. Thank you Kris for being vulnerable. Keep going!! Take your time!

for your skin: try the skincare brand Paula's choice :) im 23 and have been struggling with acne since I was 12. I got this cream stuff from my doctor that really helped and made all my acne disappear, but my skin was left so intensely dry. then I started using Paulas choice cleanser and day+nightcream. took a few products to figure out which ones were the best for me but I now have such a lovely skin care routine that works wonders for me and my skin has not looked this good since I turned 12. then for the lack of gym motivation.. maybe calisthenics is something for you? I am still figuring out a way of exercising in the gym etc that fits me and that I get to do something I like and I recently started to learn to do an off the wall handstand. and ive never been so sore, and its really fun to combine it with strength training :) so maybe calisthenics could be new motivation for you??

Have you tried the Mighty patch or any of the hydrocoloid patches? Peace Out has larger face patches. These things clear my skin over night! Also through the pandemic I’ve noticed random people just wearing a patch out and about. I tend to sweat them off under a mask during a workout but they’re great every other time. If people ask I tell them what it is and people have been really receptive, like oh cool how smart I need that. I feel like even tho we still have this anxiety and these insecurities we also have a space now to break down the stigma.

When I was around your age (post grad), I had the same acne struggles and it was completely linked to my hormones. I tried changing my diet, skincare, sheets, etc. but it was just hormones. Once I started birth control pills and regulating my hormones, it cleared up for me. Not sure if that's the case for you but perhaps something to speak to your doctor about!
@eduardopaez11793 жыл бұрын
Regardless of you having acne, you're still attractive. I'm 25 and it wouldnt matter to me if my SO had acne. Obviously I would like to help them because it may bother them. But like you said, we all have insecurities. Mine is that I feel fat all the time no matter how much weight I've lost. I dislike looking in the mirror at the gym. I know it's in my head and I've come a long way, but it(like you) ruins my day just looking at my reflection certain times. That's why I took down my mirror in my room.

I love your videos, they really motivate me and make me see that fitness can be a lifestyle! For your Acne, I used to work at a dermatology office in Marin. It’s called Southern Marin Dermatology. They have great doctors there and I’ve seen them prescribe Spironolactone for acne and products with niacinamide. I would look into that and possibly accutane if you think it’s right for you.

My acne flares up a week before as well. It doesn't feel nice. At all. But, know that it's nothing that you're doing wrong. It's just hormones. As women, we will always have a random influx of hormones at random times, therefore, uncontrollable acne 🤷♀️

For anyone struggling with Acne here is a list of things to consider. 1. Hygiene, how often you wash your face. Maybe too much or not enough. Maybe it is the soap you use. How long do you leave makeup on? 2. Diet, what you eat can effect your skin. 3. Hormones play a big part in acne. If you have major outbreaks consider getting your hormones checked. 4. Genetics, is the major factor in acne. Genetics dictates how much oil your skin produces and the size of the pores in your skin. 5. Your environment affect acne. Consider how much sun, smoak, smaug, etc comes into contact with your skin.
