I have three journals - one is my future log and collections, one is my day to day planner which holds monthly trackers and weeklies and the third book is what I call my omnijournal. It holds my day to day ramblings, memory keeping, photos, stuff I stick in and anything else. All 3 books are made with Tomoe River paper and I water colour in the omnijournal - I love how the paper feels and sounds after it's dried

Hi Helen. Loved this video. I haven't used paints in my journals yet, but I really like the look of it. So, that's something I will be trying soon. Also, I love the blue (my favorite) colors you used and the dried flowers. Oh, so gorgeous. I think all of that decorating would make me want to look through my journals/planners all the time too and use them. Hope you're enjoying the summer weather, and that you and your family are well.

I really liked this video. I'm curious about using watercolor but I'm not sure where to start. I loved the idea of the solid color with the flower doodles. I may try it with a light brush pen (my journal pages aren't thick enough for watercolor).

I think I started experimenting with water color after watching you. I like the wrinkly paper look. I use all sorts of journals and they all seem to take it well. Continue to stay safe and well.

New viewer... New subscriber... Love what I've seen so far. I tried using bullet journals for the beginning of this year, up to September. I'm considering going back to a pre designed planner, or using my technical writing degree to create my own oh, so to speak. I like doing the junk Journal style of journaling... Do you have any suggestions on how to use a junk Journal along with a pre-designed planner?

Love your video! I just found you and I really enjoyed it. I am planning to start keeping a journal after thinking about it for several years. I have a question regarding washi tape. Does it start to come off after a while? Do you use glue to make it more permanent? Thank you for the time you put in to make this video. Take care and be safe!
