You can put a whole plate of grapes down, and put another plate over it , push down slightly to hold the grapes in place, and cut through the grapes from one side to the other. This cuts them all at once, and works for things like cherry tomatoes or grape tomatoes as well.
@LeilaniLight117095 жыл бұрын
To the naysayers, you can rinse out the ziploc bags and REUSE them! Especially for just clean washed veggies (not greasy stuff). I put dish soap in them and close them, shake them back and forth and rinse, and hang on the kitchen faucet to drain and dry. It works like a charm. I also use green bags (on HSN) which keeps veg and fruit and well, everything fresh longer (takes the methane gas out). Maybe get some of those?

I have made the "copy cat" version of the Panera Bread Cheddar Broccoli Soup. I froze 2 containers of it. In fact, I still have one in my freezer in my garage currently. I took one container out last week to eat. I let it thaw for a few hours and then put it in a pot on the stove to heat through. I had no problems with it and it was still very delicious. I truly enjoy watching your meal prep videos.

I have been craving those loose meat sandwiches since you posted it on IG! Thank you for sharing the recipe! Really like your take on a Waldorf salad by adding farrow. I have found the best produce keeper for my lettuce... it has air flow vents if that produce needs them, also a chart printed on the top for certain produce .. what needs air flow and what needs humidity. This has kept my last 2 heads of romaine for 7 days.. I don’t normally keep it that long, but was experimenting. By the 7th day we had to eat what was left.... I bought these from amazon, prep works produce keeper.... highly recommend. The oxo spinner is awesome.... I’ve had mine for years

Hi Jen, I recently discovered your channel and absolutely have fallen in love with your vlogs, meal preps and all around family time videos. I absolutely have adapted some of your techniques in the kitchen. I don't have a instant pot but I do have a pressure cooker that I acquired from QVC and it has a lot of the same functions as the instant pot and am wondering if it will do boiled eggs like the instant pot. I will have to investigate that. I have tried ribs in it and they absolutely were the most tender ribs i have ever eaten. I love when you are in the kitchen because Murphy is always somewhere in the shot, it's hilarious. It reminded me of my little dog who is a yorkshire terrier / dachshund mix (Porsha) and loves to watch to see if anything will hit the floor. Your kids are too cute, especially Connor. He reminds me of my son when he was little. My son passed away in January, so it brings back fond memories of when he was little and he and his sister would love to be in the kitchen helping out when I cooked, especially whenever I was baking. Keep the videos coming they are truly inspirational. Also we have a fellow youtuber in common, I love to watch MarriageandMotherhood too. She is so funny with her decluttering videos now. She too has inspired me to declutter. I have steadily been donating, throwing out and recycling things to get my home in a better state of living. Hopefull this weekend I will have another mass donation for Goodwill. I work in the medical field as well in medical records and recently donated a ton of old scrubs to Goodwill and they were so excited to get those, as well as a ton of household goods and dishes. Keep up the good work Jen, I for one am loving it.

You are doing so well with the “Worcestershire” pronouncing! Great job! 👏🏽The “shire” part is pronounced more like “sheer” so it’s Worcester (rhymes with foster) sheer 😅

Here in Massachusetts we pronounce Worcester (name of a city here) “Woostah” so its Woostasheer 😂
@iturnedintoatelescope60755 жыл бұрын
That’s exactly right, Pam. Woostah rhymes with “foster” and shire like “sheer”. In England, if you are saying “shire” on its own then it’s pronounced as it is but when attached to the county name it becomes “sheer”. Maybe it’s a slag from the olden days that has carried over. 🤪

I use white venegar to rinse produce, too, but realy I think it is probably like playing Russian Roulette. The only way to really kill Salmonella and E-Coli is to boil the produce or soak in bleach but then who in the world wants to eat boiled/bleached lettuce? The chicken trimmings are great to save in the freezer with wing tips and backbones to make stock. Thought about you in this hideously cold weather. Cheers!
