ring suggestion: if you don't want to risk losing or damaging your engagement ring, you can order a silicone ring or other similar plain ring to wear on the regular! my brother's then fiancee (now wife) wore a placeholder ring most of the time because she's really active and didn't want to lose her ring somewhere. now that she has her wedding band, she wears that, but it was a nice way to keep the spirit of the ring without the worry. my dad also started wearing one because he does maintenance at a university and often works around electrical stuff, so a metal ring isn't practical for him.

As someone with insane allergies also, I definitely relate to feeling "sick" some days because the allergies are just that bad. I'd recommend looking into a steroid allergy shot. I usually get 1 shot in the spring and 1 in the fall. For me, it works like magic.

Getting ready to move back to LA after 15 years away and this just makes me wanna get there NOW. That's gonna be my Ralphs, or maybe the one in NoHo. I'll be almost exactly right in the middle of both, but the one you went to has a my old Jamba Juice, so that's probably gonna be the winner. Also can't wait to go walking/riding/semi-running where you went, too, and to catch as many sunsets at the beach as possible, which probably won't be a ton since I'll then have to drive back to the Valley aftward!

I’m from France and definitely a mountain guy, but I was in LA last week for a business trip and I HAD to take a few hours to walk on the Santa Monica Beach, this is so beautiful there 😍 Also, the 5AM run is great when you’re jet lag 😅

Nat I'm living on my own as a 37 year old bloke in the North of England. I have an average job and life. My sinuses flair up all the time too. We all hit a a wall. I'm on citalopram every day and it helps but this whole daily routine is hard I get it. Hopefully you're friends and family (and fans) can motivate you. Well get through this. Just gotta keep getting up

There is a great local coffee place here that sells irish cream and caramel coffee and I'm always stocked on it at home! I wish I could go running right now but my city is covered in snow and it is waaaay too cold to do anything, especially go to the beach :P My dust allergies can get crazy during the summer too so even running becomes a sneeze fest. Can't wait to see more vlogs though, really enjoying them

Wow! What a fun weekend. I lived out in LA back in the mid 80's. I lived in Venice, just west of the last 2-lane stretch of road before the ocean. The beach was... right there! Oh, man! I loved it. Not every day, but most days I would walk down to the beach and watch the sunset. It was really nice. As for the allergies, they've never bothered me. My wife has terrible allergies, and has been taking shots for almost 50 years. She also uses the sprays. And, she also uses Clarinex. Not Claritin, although it's the same drug with a different formulation. The cocktail seems to help her out. My son uses the generic Allegra. I noticed a nice shot of the Hollywood sign. And, I hate to say it, but I think your location might have something to do with the intensity of your symptoms. It's winter, and the sky looked relatively clear, but on numerous occasions when I had to go downtown, the smog was so thick that not only couldn't you see the Hollywood sign, you couldn't see the hill that it's on. On those bad days, my eyes would burn, and my nose would stop up, and I had trouble breathing. And, typically, I don't have those issues. Ah, well... I guess that's one of the trade-offs for living in LA. I was born and raised in St. Louis, but have been down south for the last 35 years or so. Thank you for the glimpse into your weekend. I've been enjoying your movie reactions, and this popped up as a suggestion. So, I'm going to go ahead and subscribe, and continue to follow your adventure. Take care! Be safe! Michael

allergies are the worst, i feel for ya there. Someone once recommended to me to eat locally sourced honey as it is made from the pollen from your area and you could build up immunity that way. Beach days in California during winter seem vastly more enjoyable than beach days in Sussex UK in winter...I live a 5 minute walk away from my beach, but I also enjoy being able to feel my face so skip it this time of the year 😂

What you two should do is get "Burner" wedding rings that you can wear day-to-day without worrying too much about losing them. Then keep the actual rings safe, and wear them only when the occasion demands. Just a thought. *EDIT* Congrats on the upcoming nuptials!!! Hope you can bring us along!!! I feel your pain with the allergies. I take a Aleve-D whenever my symptoms get really bad. You should give it a try. Of course, you need to get it from behind the pharmacy counter. Expensive, but worth every penny.

I feel you with the allergies. I don't know what kind of diet you have, but have you tried cutting out dairy? Its a big allergy that a lot of people don't realise they have as they don't get the grim intolerance symptoms. It basically raises your sensitivity to everything else. It legit turned my life around when I gave it up!

My friend is married but does a lot of work where his ring could get damaged so he has, kind of fake ring he wears most of the time. I think it's like, rubber or something, but still looks lie a wedding band so it doesn't matter if it gets damaged.

I don't know if this was what you meant by sneezing 10 times every 5 minutes, but from 5th to 8th grade, I went to school with a girl that always sneezed in multiples. Meaning, when she sneezed, it was never just a single sneeze. It was always at least two or three sneezes non stop in quick succession. "Hachoo, hachoo, hachoo! Everybody knew this about her. One day in Junior High, at the beginning of PE class, we were just sitting out on our role call numbers waiting for class to start, and she started sneezing, and as soon as she did, the entire class in unison started counting along out loud, impervious to her suffering. It was pretty cruel now that I look back on it, but I don't know if she was just having the worst attack of her life, or if psychologically she was being spurned on by our chanting, but she just kept going! In the moment it was kind of exciting. You get caught up in it. I think she got up to like 138 sneezes in a row. Because she wasn't even stopping long enough to really take in much air, she started to pass out. The school nurse had to come take her away in a wheelchair. True story.
