I admire your candor in talking about the struggles you have in making a big life change. I feel like most people would hype up such objectively great, exciting things, and not be honest about the problems that come along with it. You'll get a handle on it though, you're positive, motivated, and have a lot of blessings on your side. It's great to see you, no matter what part of your journey you're on!

I really enjoyed this vlog! As far as farmers and butchers, the St George Farmers market is amazing that is on saturdays. There’s a great butcher that comes, I forget their name. There’s also people selling fresh veggies and fruit. They also have a farm store on Main Street that’s open year round with good meat and produce 🤍 Santa Clara also has a great farmers market with produce

Also, can totally relate to aussie food quality, and agree it is not as good overseas here in the UK. Thank you for being open and hope to hear more about how you get over this period! X

Moving countries is SO challenging, especially when you've been working towards it for a long time and you finally get what you want, but then you feel unbalanced when you cant find the lifestyle you had previously. I'm South African, lived in Vietnam for five years and I've just moved to Portugal. Everything starts later here (10am and after). Dinner is usually at 9 or 10pm. The local food is carb and meat heavy. It's an incredible place, but also a totally different lifestyle to what I had before and I worked really hard to get here. When you were speaking about finding your way again, I knew exactly what you meant. (I also keep getting sick lol). The other thing i wanted to say is that i understand the resistance to tik tok because it seems like a gen z app, but the content style is right up your alley: informative, honest, funny, kinda cathartic. The algorithm is also kinder. I think you would have a better time on there than insta because insta has fallen off and there's no coming back lol. Anyways, you're amazing. Your vlogs are my Monday motivation. Thank you!

US privacy laws aren't that great when it comes to online data sharing on top of that we have a lot of shady phishing sites. I'd recommend sending up an alert on your CC's for anything over whatever amount you feel comfortable with. Then I would set up an online tracker to see if your data has been leaked. It's a lot, but I find you almost have to do that here also 2Auth everything it'll save you except for social media logins cause that shiz lost me one of my IG accounts.

I feel you with the move and all the new input and changes on your routines. Also I know this whole thing of missing habits that feel like filling up your soul, so that you feel like yourself again. Even though I never changed continents, I moved a lot so far and it comes down to one to two years, to get the balance again, in my experience. Often times there is a part of grieving the old YOU as well. Best of success for the app! I am very interested in the process of this, if you wanna share more of it. On the topic of instagram: I miss the old IG as well. Even though I love the training-content on this app I tend to watch these more on KZbin, because it doesn't try to suck me in. The format is so chaotic for me and the separation of reels and feed videos in the folders is not very userfriendly, in my opinion. Keep on going, I hope you feel more balanced in the near future. Best wishes, Ina : )

Giiirrll the stories I could tell you about American banks - we set up our business there initially and it was such a pain in the ass with them constantly blocking our cards and payments that we ended up moving the business to Australia. We were in London once and the USA bank blocked our cards, we called them, they said "we'll open your card for 15 minutes and you can only withdraw $500". It's like. No. Let us access all our money all the time please 🙄. Even now, we have CONSTANT payment issues with our USA based clients. It's insane.
@MichelleAntonia Жыл бұрын
As an American, I feel like, in general, life in Australia is a LOT slower, and more laid back. Things don't move as fast, and with a slower pace, there are lower stakes, and generally lower stakes problems. But for someone accustomed to life in Australia, I can see how dealing with the way things are here would be a bit overwhelming. There's just simply more of everything, and more of a kind of wild west-feel to life in general. I guess you have to grow up here to be able to accept and ignore it.
@LifeFilmz Жыл бұрын

@@MichelleAntoniaWhat absolute BS U r hugely naive ! Such a dumb comment. I’m not sure to which aspect of the video, u r referring to, but, to say… “ lower stakes and lower stakes problems in Australia “ Is absolutely ridiculous. Australia is not all desert and kangaroos ! We also have big modern cities, such as Sydney & Melbourne, that have populations of approx 6 million people etc And we have the internet & 5g mobile phones in Australia ! Australia has all the same first world problems like America, and all the same issues that come via an online / computerised world of commerce etc. All types of scams and CC fraud is also shockingly bad in Australia… U can choose to be part of a fast pace lifestyle, or not, no matter where u live, in the world. Moving OS and settling into a new country and city etc, is a big thing. It does take time to adjust to your new surroundings etc, and to establish a routine etc. You don’t seem to have any understanding of the situation Morgan is in. Based on your stupid comment, it definitely seems as though u have never travelled to Australia, or Europe etc. U might not have even travelled much within the USA… Your very wrong opinions and assumptions are clearly based on a diet of info that is not broadly based…
