Wow! You really do get some wild weather in your part of the world. In comparison, I guess we’re lucky here in Wales. Storms aren’t frequent and only last a short while. You two have such similar tastes as my husband and I when it comes to directors and we also grab lots when we find someone we like. Jim Jarmusch is wonderful and Paul Thomas Anderson is one of my personal favourites. As soon as I saw Hard Eight I was hooked - such an amazing introduction. @@CinemaDaveMedia I guess you’re going to be getting into more Wim Wenders now 😀. We recently watched Paper Moon and going to be picking up more Peter Bogdanovich. Wonderful film by such a great director.

We’ve all had so much rain this summer, it’s been wild! I think Toronto has set a record for most rainfall ever in Summer since, like, the 1930s 😅

With the weather recently, Id recommend carrying an umbrella in the backseat of the car. Last October, I watched 1 Universal Monster Movie a day with the 30 movie pack.

@@SuperAsdke Oh yes, good point. We thought we had avoided the rain last Tuesday but were very wrong. We love watching Universal horror and still enjoying the Universal Monsters channel on Roku TV.

That's too bad about your Big Lots. I went to my local store yesterday and found a DVD of Josie and the Pussycats, all 16 episodes for 8 dollars, which I think is cheaper than online. So i got it
