Don’t put pressure on yourself on things you’re supposed to do or not supposed to do at your age! I realize, now that I’m almost 30, that I had this subconscious idea that my life peaked and went downhill after 25. It’s just so not true. I’m excited to be 30 because your 20s are so hard!!! My career is more stable, finances are more stable. I’m engaged but have more “fun” than I did at even 25. It’s also okay to not have goals for the day or the week or the month. You are not stagnant. That’s human. Existing is enough!

I totally agree and understand your feelings. I think we all feel like there's half of us that wants to be successful and responsible then the other half that wants to have fun. Honestly it's both. Seriously. Give yourself permission to be, go, do, whatever feels right. It might be a day, month or year of one way or the other but don't pressure yourself, permission your truth. Big hugs!

Totally relate to your balance dilemma! I am 23 & in my corp post grad job and it’s a constant struggle of doing the personal growth things and the big fun social experiences. I super don’t know a solution and I’m trying to figure it out everyday but you’re definitely not crazy😂

Maybe pick one thing to focus on instead of all the things. Drink your water, or take walks. Once those have become habits then add something else. If you try to add too much at once it can be overwhelming.

Im a mama to a toddler that works full time at home in cybersecurity so my hours go from 35-60 depending on what season we are in, my fiancé works from 9:30a to 7:30p and I can tell you it’s rough some days but you learn to give yourself grace and rely on the time when your child’s sleeping either early in the morning or at night. I honestly can’t remember the last time I slept more than seven hours

Your hair looks great styled with the bows!! Trader Joe's mini ice cream cones are a great treat! One is just 70-80 calories, if I remember correctly. The box will say 260 but they call a serving size 3 cones! One is plenty. LOL I also love their mini dark chocolate peanut butter cups.

I understand struggling to balance healthy habits in your 20s. I think that you need to take it easier on yourself and treat each day individually. Maybe dial back the social plans to 2-3 times per week and then really prioritize your healthy habits the other days. That might help.
@DarlingDaisy9710 ай бұрын
"living life at 20" doesn't look the same for everyone. Maybe you're forcing yourself to do all the partying and drinking because we're all used to think that you should be doing that in your 20s. I realized all the parties and all the drinking wasn't for me 4 years ago (i was 22) and i've been feeling much better and so MYSELF since i stop doing it. I do go out to have dinner or get some drinks with friends but it's all very low key and calm because that's what i like. And yes, i still feel like i'm wasting my 20s sometimes but then when i think about it more i'm like "do i really feel like i'm wasting my 20s? Or is it just because we're always told that's what you're supposed to do in your 20s?". My point it's, maybe it's not for you and that's why it drains you so much! Maybe your "living life at 20" implies something different and you need to figure it out to really feel like you're enjoying your 20s without getting burnt out💕

For stains, use part baking soda/ part Dawn dish soap/ part hydrogen peroxide. It works on getting any kind of stain out of anything. I don't know the exact measurements but I know there are recipes if you look it up.

I don't think it's the healthiest mindset to assume that your 20s absolutely have to look one certain way - that way including indulging in habits such as regularly consuming alcohol and partying. I'm 23 as well and that has never been my scene which I'm completely content with. While it can be easy to compare yourself to people our age, it's also really important to remember that we all have different personalities, interests, and levels of emotional energy that should not be shunned by others in any way. As someone else alluded to, it might just not be the lifestyle for you and it should be normalized THAT IS OKAY.
