We have five daughters and for five years years we had a playroom for them until our youngest was almost two years old. That was the last room that I worried about being perfectly clean. Two years ago we turned their play room into our dining room which is also where we do our homeschool and have family meals. Everything is for a season.

I use the online grocery from Walmart. I use food stamps and I have found I don't spend as much on groceries versus going into the store and buying whatever I pick up. I will continue to use it after the restrictions are lifted. I used to run out of money on FS before the next payment got on. I enjoy your videos. I think I will be going back to skirts to wear every day. I used to be Mennonite so I was used to it. Your kids are adorable.

Thanks for sharing your week! I like how you said we all have different values about what we spend our money on. I know I’ve been “teased” about being cheap, buying off brand products, etc., but I’d rather spend less on things like groceries and have money for holidays and fun things that make memories for my family. Thanks Megan, well said!

You mentioned Spam and Josh loves it. I have a recipe that makes it pretty darn good. In a bowl grate one can of spam and one brick of cheese. Loosen it up while mixing it together. Then add (in ratio to each other not amounts) 1 mayo, 1/2 ketchup, and 1/4 yellow mustard. Mix this all together to make a spread. Spread on open face hamburger buns and place under a broiler until warm and bubbly. I like to put about 1/3 of the way down from the broiler so they are nice and warm all the way through by the time they get bubbly and browned. You can certainly add thing like onions, garlic, etc. But the basic recipe is good just the way it is. You can store it in the fridge for several days in an air tight container until you use it up. Great for camping or vacationing when you have an oven also.

Same with me. I cook one large family meal a week for 4 to 8 people, the other nights it's just my husband and I. 200 to 300 but I do buy organic food when it's available. I cook most of our meals but my husband takes a sandwich, banana and a snack cake (I know, it's what he wants) for his lunch.

would love to see what you have planned for the kids learning. I'm planning on going into teacher training next year so would love to see your teaching style and the activities you like to do. Our birthday tradition is for the birthday person to choose their birthday tea. that's adults and children, kids always choose McDonald's of course. Sometimes we choose to eat out or get a takeaway, but often its just eating at home but a meal of our choice. I totally get wanting to try something different but also get that sometimes for a special treat its nice to stick to favourites. We don't eat out often so will often go to a favourite place.

Megan Fox Unlocked I know they did! I’d have been in heaven if my mom and dad did that for me. But, I cannot judge them. They did their best and they were much older when I came along. They’d already raised 4 other daughters. I think you’d be the person to ask this. There is nothing sadder than losing a Child in a miscarriage and my mom lost 3 before I was born. Do you think it appropriate to count a miscarried babe along with the rest of your children? I’ve always considered them my sisters, too, but recently someone told me that’s foolish. They never lived (which is flat-out untrue). Thanks and no worries, I know these things are tough to talk about and you need reply if you’re comfortable. If anyone else sees this and has an answer, I’d appreciate it.

Enjoyed your video Megen, your husband is a good sport with his birthday party. Two days a week is about right at her age, I would enjoy seeing what you have for your son to pay with on school days. You spent more then I do in a week but my daughter is grown still think your budget was great some wives spend a whole lot more, keep up the good work God bless you and your family 🤗💖

Megan, you are such an inspiration! I love your humble personality!! You and Josh are an amazing couple and hands down awesome parents to those two gorgeous kids. I actually found your channel last year when you showed what you spent in a week and have been here ever since!!! I really like these week long videos bc it's so interesting to see what goes on in other parts of the country. I must say my favorite part of this was when Josh asked why were there 3 candles and said are you pregnant and not telling me. It was def a priceless moment. Last but not least, you stated you bought Chex cereal for Puppy Chow, I was wondering if you could explain how to prepare this sometime when you have time? Thank you so much for inviting us in your busy life!!!!

Wait. Back up. What were those plants ? We need a garden tour. I miss my parents garden. I would love to see close up more about farming up north. I could watch a whole video on each season planting and picking.

I love all of your bouquets that you made! So beautiful, flower picking sounds like the perfect girls day activity! I am north of you in Lebanon County and I love how many ladies will put bouquets and cut flowers out for sale by the road ❤️
