German Helmet Restoration.
In this video, I will show a restatement of the German Helmet M42 from the World War II. This helmet has been in the ground for 75 years. As a result of the restoration, the original paint and the color of the helmet were preserved.
No propaganda and extremism.Only history!
The demonstration of Nazi symbols in my videos is not propaganda of fascism, Nazism, etc. They are demonstrated exclusively for historical and scientific purposes.

@TheOldBreedThats just foolish, that would make it worth next to nothing on the collector market and destroy the historical significance of the piece. There are plenty of modern reproductions widely available.

I really love this type of restoration, I mean, I see a lot of guys "restoring" helmets and stuff but they use new paint and a lot of new things, and that destroys the esence and the pass of the time, and you just clean and do little details keeping the original esence, nice video, respect

i agree, unfortunately a lot of helmets need complete restoration from being in the ground for so long but this example certainly is in good shape and would be worth more in its original state.

The rubber dried and spread, the skin too. Skin very rarely remains in good condition.

What he did is basically enough to consider it restored and taken out of rotting condition. He did the best for it. Believe me. On some of the helmets I've done they dont like being tinkered with. Also m40s and m42s dont like being hit with hammers. They crack and turn to chunks.

Its from the Wehrmacht and not SS. Yes its still from Nazi-Germany, but that dosen't mean it was a Nazi/Jew hater, that had it. Its history, and a young man probably lost his life while having that on
