Amazing🌼 I’m blown away by how light and durable this vac is. Cord powered or battery powered as well as having the ability to suck up water. Perfect for cleaning out our car as well as all the dust and chips from woodworking in the garage. Overall this thing is great and well worth the money.

I just wanted to let everyone know that buying the De Walt 18 V / 20 V cordless vacuum has been one of my best investment's I was a victim of a hit and run I was on a motorcycle and a big rig hit me and ran. And because of that accident I can't really do too much by way of physical labor anyway I was in the market to buy cordless vacuum cleaner but I use some other De Walt cordless tools that require the 20 V battery so after viewing this product on this channel I decided to buy one so I purchased one and its well worth the money theres an old adage that says " you get what you pay for " I am very glad I paid more for the quality of this tool I guve you 5 thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍 keep up the great work and thank you again another very satisfied customer..

Three other vacs in this voltage class let you store the hose and two attachments on the outside, like the Dewalt: Bosch 18V, Hilti 21.6V, and Makita 18V. I own the Hilti. I like it because it's quiet, even on high, and its hose can stretch 10.5 feet. All my other tools in this voltage class are Milwaukee. I carved out an exception for the Hilti vacuum and I have no regrets.

I just found this vacuum on DeWalt`s site. That filter will take dust particles as small as .03 microns,... that`s impressive to me. AND the filter is washable with plain water. Good deal all around I think. Thanks for this Kyle.

Great review. You sold me on it. I hate caring my 5 gallon shop vac around. It’s really bulky and it worries I could dent a wall or floor on my client’s homes.

Man, it's been awhile since I uploaded this video, and I love it even more these days. Using it all this week on a bathroom remodel. The handiest of tools. I pulled the filter in 3 seconds, which allowed me to vacuum the toilet dry for removal. Emptied the basin, put the filter back in, and vacuumed the rest of the mess in the room. Take it out to vacuum the truck. One of my favorite uses: I have two toddlers. When we go on longer road trips, I throw it aboard the truck! It's so nice to be able to clean out the kids car seats of cereal, crumbs, etc, and clean our seats up front. Awesome having a freshly vacuumed vehicle after spending many hours on the road!

@@kyle_noseworthy thanks for the reply. I’m torn between this vac and the one from rigid. I saw a video when the rigid had more suction power, only thing is I don’t have any rigid batteries.

Ive been wanting a dewalt cordless vacuum for a while now but as you mentioned most other reviews were pure cheerleading without putting the machines through their paces. You did a pretty good review compared to all the others I’ve seen. I have soooo many other dewalt tools and about 15 batteries, even the larger amp hour batteries including two of the 60v flex batteries that will work in the smaller max tools like drills and impact drivers. I love dewalt products and will be buying one of these vacuums , maybe two of them so I can have one for my home use and one for my camp as i’ve got three offgrid cabins that really could benefit from this vacuum. Ive got so much dewalt stuff I probably should start my own channel...haha.

That was helpful and feeling more ok with choosing this one. Thanks. Could be wrong on this but the SOUND of the DeWalt doesn’t seem near as “ear drum piercing” annoying, but, hard to tell over videos. That said, I have a Rigid “corded only” shop vac and it’s hella loud. Hoping to avoid that as I see it as another deterrent not to use, and keep the cars and garage clean. My main goal is to ENCOURAGE MORE, REGULAR USE OF THE CLEANING TOOLS! Eventually will have m 1 VAC LIVING IN EACH CAR, including our RV. DEWALT’s seems more of a low pitch hum then others out there, yes? 🤷🏻♀️ Hoping the kids won’t be covering their ears wishing to “TURN IT OFF”, but actually start using it themselves.

Mine screws in! Well, the hose ends thread on (it's a bit of a trick to get the hose to thread on), and the hose ends also 'turn-click' into the vacuum body. Best of luck!

I`m rather surprised at the `low`price of this vacuum. I am in the market now! I wish I could be sure t was a HEPA filter. They state that it`s a HEPA `type` filter, this gives me some concern that it isn`t really a true HEPA filtration unit. I.E. keeps the fine dust out of the surrounding air. ( this is important to me)

Hey Kyle, have this vacuum. When I do a good cleaning, wash the filter, clean the canister etc. it has very little suction. The ball inside the filter always jams up blocking air flow. It’s clean like new but doesn’t suck . I’ve had it back to DeWalt and they say they just cleaned it up. Bull crap, something else going on. Has anybody else have this happen.
