*I read previous reviews of this and wondered. Once I got it and started using it - this is a great little vacuum **MyBest.Tools** Strong, multiple filters and attachments, well worth the money. As stated in previous reviews, where you wrap the cord/store the attachments is poorly placed. All else well was thought out and it works great.*

Thanks for reviewing this as I'm looking to add it to my new Dewalt collection. An example of the "wet" side of the product would have also been helpful.

Good video, would have liked 11:59 to see if they could pick up #9 lead bird shot. Some units have issues with the switch not working. And internal electronics . Such as the fuse and circuit board.

Good Review! Clear and concise, you answered my primary questions. You were a bit hard on the B&D vacuums. I have had a few of those as well and they are one of the top rated for what they do. Also less than half the price and they hold up well compared to others. I am now sold on the DeWALT though. The proof will be how long it actually lasts with daily use picking up cat litter, fur etc.

Great review. Wife says get it. Yea!. De-walt should subcontract to you to provide wall mount with purchase of unit. Good design work.

Looks like using the big battery makes it hard to use the fixed nozzle? I don't have any big batts so it's not a big deal. What I really like is the flexible hose. It seems to have more suction? I'm looking to get one cause it fits my needs just perfect. Thanks for showing this vid. WM Update.. Ordered...

I think the filter will need replacement pretty soon. It sits on top of the dust tray, and have no dust bag nor it is of the cyclone type (which keeps the dust away from the filter). But I am no vacuum cleaner professional by any means, so it is just my humble opinion 😀
@ChristopherLum4 жыл бұрын
Igor, you make a good observation. The filter does tend to sit in the collected dust so I try to empty to bin as often as possible.

I would really like to buy the holder for this item. I went to the site but was not able to log in. There is no price for this so I have to assume I would need to make it myself. I would rather buy it as is if that is possible.

I was just about to pull the trigger on a rigid 2 gal until I saw your review. Just came in today and it's just the prefect size for me. I'm already imbedded in Dewalt so I have a couple of batts to use although they are 1.5A . They seem to work just fine. At first glance I notice there wasn't any gasket on the filter cover. I'll have to measure and see if it leaks. The second thing I noticed was the hose was loose at the suction end. I pushed it in and it fit nice and tight. It has plenty of suction on my carpet and tile floors. I'm so glad I saw your vid. It's just the size I was looking for. Now I gotta try it on the truck carpet. Thanks

I'm glad it was helpful. If you have a 3d printer you should print out the mounting bracket that I linked to in the description. It has been super helpful for storing my vacuum. Thanks for watching!
