Manny G How about a video of a what a fighter should eat on a regular day, not weight cutting, but exceptionally healthy with lots of protein and some of the good carbs for energy. Like on a week by week thing.

It'sDare as an amateur, I eat pretty much whatever when I'm not fight prepping. I don't get to crazy that I get a bad weight cut if that makes sense. Then again, I'm a genetic comodedy

This is basically what I meal prep. But as a tip from one fighter to another, consider substituting the olive oil for cooking spray or butter. Olive oil when heated up actually becomes quite detrimental to your health.
@vladimarputin45396 жыл бұрын
Lazarus not extra virgin olive oil. It's good to cook with olive oil, but the right organic ones.

just a suggestion, weigh the chicken after its cooked. because it will shrink as it cooks. so 6 oz raw is more like 4.5-5 oz cooked.

Salt/sodium is okay during the first couple of days when you are cutting weight but as you get closer to weigh-in you need to significantly reduce and eliminate the salt altogether if you are cutting weight. Salt helps your body retain water. Water = weight. Also gotta keep carbs to 50g or less until a week before weigh-in and then keep dropping that to less than 20 a couple days out.

Actually its saturated fat that is the precursor to test, healthy fats do help aswell, but without the saturated fat its not gonna do much for test. Also carbs with the meat actually will help increase test levels even further. The only problem is if you eat too much then add too much belly fat which will then lower test levels.

I heard that this diet is only for the short run. All the fat you lost will have to be gained after the fight I heard that the Muay thai way of weight cutting (High Carb, mod-protein, low fat) is the best way of maintaining your weight class for all year long which is what I prefer than having to go through the stress of weight cutting. I'll use this diet for my first soon since its coming up soon. After my first fight then I'll stay very close to my fighting weight by the HCLF with mod-protein diet.
