Say Ye Bier Hooligan. It just occurred to me after watching many of your reviews who you resemble. Bricktop was a character in the most awesome movie Snatch. I'd say you have a brother from another mother..if I may be so bold to jest. Just had to get that off my chest. You have yet another entertaining and spot-on review of this beer. Prost!

Went to the supermarket today (August 12) and the Oktoberfest beers are out! Picked up a fresh sixer of this! Can't wait to try it again this year. Really enjoyed the review.

The Brewery always say that they use the finest and purest ingredients and once you've had that first sip of any of their Beers then you realise that their not giving any false information out!

I tell you what Mark, i've been drinking German Beer for 34 years and i can tell you that for about the last 25 Christmas Days it's only ever been Weihenstephaner drank by myself and my friends and family.

Mark, how are erdinger getting away with calling their offering a oktoberfest? Its a decent weissebier better than their standard but certainly not a marzen and they aint in munich... Are they that powerful they make their own rules... 🤔

Weihenstephaner is a far better Wizen than Erdinger!

According to the BJCP, Märzen is “an elegant, malty German amber lager with clean, rich, toasty and bready malt flavor, restrained bitterness, and a dry finish that encourages another drink.” Festbier, by comparison, is described as “less intense and less richly toasted than a Märzen.”

@@louisbeerreviews8964 its not a Märzen. Believe Sean on this one. The only Märzen on the Oktoberfest is made by Hacker-Pschorr the other are normal Festbier
