Buying womens jeans sucks, the sizing is completely random (I demonstrated this to my sceptic boyfriend by buying the same size from 3 Different brands, one huge, one tiny and one fitting but all of them without usable pockets). And the one brand I loved that always fit has now decreased the pocket sizes so I can't even keep my KEYS IN THERE HYARGHHH I hate it so much

While it does in fact look like cell division, double yolks are actually caused by mix-ups in the chicken's reproductive cycle! It usually happens with younger hens because their egg production isn't yet completely in sync. I once had one of my chickens lay an egg without yolk and the other with two!

Eggs with no shell is a natural phenomenon. It can happen due to a slew of conditions that go anywhere from lack of calcium, to age of the hen, to stress, etc.

One of my ducks has a big problem with this. She’s had a calcium deficiency for about 4 years that we can’t seem to solve no matter how much calcium we give her. She often lays shelllest rubbery eggs so we have started getting her birth control/hormone blockers so she won’t have eggs exploding in her and whatnot.

Double yolks has nothing to do with cell division. The yolk is a source of food. Sometimes, there are two in big eggs. Double yolks in jumbo eggs are super common. We had them all the time. And if they weren't double, the lone yolks were really big. Very fun.

I googled, and apparently white egg yolks just means the chickens were eating sorghum instead of corn. Sorghum apparnetly has less of the stuff that makes corn yellow/

Typically it does mean the chickens are unhealthy. The healthier a chicken is, usually the darker the yolk

As an x-homesteader who once cared for 100+ chickens, I can tell you all about weird eggs. The double yoker is usually very large but a fairly common mutation, as is the shelless egg; that is caused by a lack of calcium in you're chicken's diet. So for chicken owners out there be sure to give your hens crushed egg shells or sea shells to keep your eggs nice and strong. Also this is random but my favorite kind of weird egg is the fairy egg (aka "fart egg"), which is caused by the chicken having a really bad day and creating an egg the size of a quarter. Some of them will have green yolks and most of the time they are perfectly round but they're safe to eat, and just adorable. Anyways I'm done blabbering about eggs.

The whole egg, whites, yolk, that is not gonna divide, the yolk is a food source to the embryo, the white is embryonic fluid, so keeps the baby hydrated and stuff, there's an air pocket they will go into before hatching. Then there is an embryo that divides, however in store eggs they are unfertilized and you likely will not see the beginnings of a possible baby! So basically, that's just two yolks in the egg, and I guess the hen had extra nutrients 🤷🏻‍♀️

The egg yolk is the food for the baby chicken, not the actual baby chick. So 2 egg yolks does not mean 2 babies nor does it mean the cell is dividing.
