@manichairdo Problem is that while he was banned from one school, he just moved on to another school. Schools need to be mandated to inform all educational authorities as well as police when they become aware of abuse. Private schools often operate to a different agenda ie protect the (fee-paying) school. Even within state schools, a blind eye is often turned where wrongdoing has taken place.

As a survivor of sexual abuse in childhood I am overwhelmed by the amount of cover ups exposed in the news right now.. every time I turn on the news , TV or radio all I get is constant reminders of just how many sexual predators get away with their crimes, whilst us survivors struggle every day with PTSD of the trauma. "the church" could meet in each others homes if we wanted to. The church is not the building, the church go to the building to meet up. The church is the congregation. Those who follow Jesus.
