If anybody has ever tried to do translation on the fly like that especially in front of an audience focusing on you, they'll know that isn't too easy. I'm all the more impressed because this girl is so young and she's in front of a judge, a court audience and other officials all paying attention to her, in a far from ideal situation. JBomb82 My dad had a work opportunity in England so he took it and we moved. I wasn't born yet and my family didn't know any English, my brothers just learned over time and they can speak it fluently and know it better then my home language. My dad also learnt and can understand it and speak it with an accent. My mum is taking language courses and can speak English quite well. So sometimes it's just a big move and a great opportunity to start someplace better.

This is a month late but I remember I was in 5th grade, got really sick and had to stay in the hospital for 2 months. I just finished my surgery and a bunch of the doctors that worked on it came to me and my mom told them that I wanted to be a doctor. I came to the us as refugee, I can’t thanks this country enough for allowing us to start a new life here. My journey was tough because due to the language and the culture shocked but my life is great here.
