Have you used Tifa a lot more than Aerith? Because rel. status has a lot to do with how often you use them, in addition to how you answer questions.

@@Tempestuous97 Yes the dialogue choices do matter, however using them in your party more often has no effect on the relationship status. (You may be referring to using new synergy skills and abilities for the first time in which case you are correct, but It's definitely not "time spent fighting with someone"). After beating the game you get a more in depth look at how relationships go up, and fighting with someone for more time will not affect it.

@breadleywheatler9242 Yes, thanks for clarifying. You’re right- using them in the party to specifically use their synergy skills is important- not just simply how often you use them compared to other characters.

The costa del sol job board has an Aerith quest if you want a little boost to her happy face bar :) Fast travel north, then backtrack the buggy over the river, and you'll be back in Corel region to do said quest if you wish! :D Gotta be the costa del sol board specifically. Cheers and great uploads as always

I recommend going back to the Gold Saucer and exchanging your points for different cards at any of the GP exchange stations at each of the squares. You can get a +10 card of your own there. Each exchange station has different cards. Also if you go back to the Grasslands Thorin at the card shop will have new cards from time to time.

Should not feel like its dumb when you die quickly or all at once. Final Fantasy is a strategy game more than a hack and slash. There are items in your arsenal that will always solve your problem but most people collect them and then never use them so fights are always frustrating.
