Hi. While watching I saw something from my past. The TRAK Dro. Started with Southwestern Ind in 1980. Sold, installed and serviced their product for 10 yrs. Saw you with Josh Topper and have followed since. Even though I was deep in CNC later on with SWI I really like watching the manual side that you are doing.

@@VanoverMachineAndRepair Did you filter the welding part then or since last video? Watched most videos from your channel in the last 6 months or so and it gets better all the time in quality of framing, cuts, .... Only part i miss is to see those numbers on the final measure of parts. If you have a 6 month ready backlog not only filmed but cut and all completely done i guess i´m shocked. But nonetheless i felt that even with the missing part not filmed, it was a nice watch and felt good to follow along.
@VanoverMachineAndRepair6 ай бұрын
@@Fynnuekue yes. I have about 15 videos still film that need to be edited. Last year this time I was about 30. I went to going every week to try to catch up, but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to keep that rate which is fine. I didn’t do anything different with the Welding footage however, since someone was complaining about it, I can’t remember if it was you. I tried to do a trick in the editing software to see if it helps. That I did yesterday, but yeah, the video you’re seeing was shot between October and February. my shots are getting better and I am getting better as time moves on, but each project is different. to be honest some projects I can really take the time and so you’re just gonna get better shots other projects I’m not gonna have quite the same level of time so it really will just kind of fluctuate if I am being Frank. Overall has the future moves forward. We are getting better. I just really wish I could take all the time I wanted to to do the best job possible and as I get busier, that’s not necessarily the case so some of the more recent videos, I’m sure will be less crazy shot heavy. The last several years I had a little bit more time on my hands so I can really set up my shots but as time moves on and I’m getting busier sometimes getting the job done is a little more important.

A couple of ideas that might be of interest Have you considered plugging the second dog bone into the first dog bone To get a longer reach & more flexibility when moving a load If you had a socket on the pin end of the dog bone you could put the skyhook in that socket & the table in the other end of the dog bone

Hi Kyle, really clever use of a back saving device. Well planned out. I don't know how much you would use it, but I am looking at the vertical hole in the pivot of the base, and my thoughts are tp make a removable blueprint hangar with clips. I can't live without mine (not a pedestal base unfortunately), but my setup works well for me. Thanks for the video!
@VanoverMachineAndRepairАй бұрын
I use mine quite a bit, but I need to start moving towards a Jib Crane instead in that area because it is more efficient, especially on the really big pieces.

So, just curious.. can we expect some 3/4 million dollar CNC machines and 50k dollar flex arms and high dollar accessories coming soon? Sponsorships and commercials, reviews of equipment I could only dream of operating let alone owning and new modern machines that cost more than my house.. ? Because this channels content is getting way too good for it not to happen. I really enjoy your content and truly appreciate your efforts put into making these videos. It’s very time consuming and tedious. It’s a commitment and most viewers don’t have a clue what is involved in making such high quality videos. I pray to the ol Iron gods that you stay in this wheelhouse because you are just dam good at it. You deserve every single viewer,subscriber,sponsor or comment you get and some. And just like others if you hit the KZbin lotto I’ll still continue to watch your videos, although this right here is the reason I keep coming back. You are quite the inspiration sir. I hope you continue on this path. I’m just a nobody in the crowd but I’m a fan of your work. You inspire me and encourage me, and entertain me and I can’t thank you enough. I hope Have a great day sir. Thanks for all your additional work bringing this project to us all out here in TV land. 👍🏻👍🏻

I have 1 product review coming up in all honestly. My first in 5 years. Other than that I just prefer to kinda do what I want. No cncs btw or high budgets. Atleast no time soon. I want a cnc but probably won’t do content on it because it’s boring in my opinion. I am trying hard not to sell out but yeah it’s tough since it takes so much effort and I make so little per month it’s kinda not sustainable. I’ll keep it going as long as I can because I enjoy making videos. Hopefully when I get busier I can just get more help w vids so I can keep them coming. We’ll see.
@jasonhull57126 ай бұрын
@@VanoverMachineAndRepair I completely understand. Your channel should be hitting higher numbers in my opinion. I really think it’s just a matter of time. I hope you get the results you deserve before you go broke and have to take other avenues. But I do understand. And I’m not denying that CNC’s are the way to go, for manufacturing and production. But there will always be a demand for manual machining no matter what “the industry” leads folks to believe. And I’m not at all against the CNC’s. It’s just not interesting in the slightest as far as videos go. It would be one thing to have a CNC and do videos on how to program and set them up for newcomers. But everyone wants to skip the setup and just show them blasting through material. It’s great for a 30 second short. But not for the guys that enjoy the machines and processes and operations. Putting out the top notch content as you are doing, the skill level you have and ontop of that actually responding to comments, it’s only a matter of time. But this channel has such an enormous amount of potential. I’m rooting for you sir. Thank you for taking the time to reply. 🍻

Yeah seems to make sense based on logic. Idk maybe it isn’t great for it. Apparently the force on cutting is far greater than using the skyhook. I buy it in one sense but also leverage. I can see how 200 lbs 18” away is more force than a thousands pounds of force just at the cutter. I guess we’ll see.
