How can i do this diet without losing weight? I'm already skinny as is.
@serahsoule

Keep your calories up. I know someone who can easily get in over 2,000. Have the avocados, eat the half cup of flax or chia or the flax oil. Use the fruit on the amount allowed. Whatever stage of the protocol you're on, you can get in the calories. If you do eat nutritional yeast, beans, edamame, tofu or potatoes, you'll be okay, too but please don't add these for calories if you're not sure if you can heal with them. Just add more of what's on your specific plan. You can do it. Happy healing.

I have been doing my best to follow Dr.G's advice on my own for a good while now. And I feel like now the energy starts to kick in for real. Its the best feeling but also a bit scary. I am going to need some kind of work or something if things keep progressing. (Im on disability pension now.) Good but scary.

The closer I stay with whole foods uncooked the better. I do beans and put them over fresh peppers, onions, and greens with out cooking the veggies. Works well and I know beans are the true magic of nutrition and protein

Food is for nourishment and it is suppose to be enjoyed. It is not suppose to be boring that is why we have so many taste buds and so many colorful varieties of fruits and vegetables, and nuts and seeds. But all the garbage foods man have made as well as the chemicals they put in it has been yes so addicting. And without it the food from the earth tastes so much sweeter and so much more flavorful. And I tell you ever since I’ve been drinking kale smoothie and eating more veggies, I’ve actually been craving it on the days I don’t have it. And that is what we all need to go back to. “Food is not for entertainment” is so true but it is supposed to be enjoyed. Dr. You have changed my life and my understanding of what the heck has been wrong with me for so long. I’m not complete yet but I’m on my way. What I’m enjoying at this time is I actually have energy and I can actually think and take care of my family. Thank you.. ❤

I just moved back to a greens/onions etc green salad w/flax oil & garlic dressing, and separate plate of steamed kales/collards/sweet potatoes/cabbage, quickly sauteed garlic - so far my stomach feels better. In future Smaller smoothies a couple times a day are my goal… and I may test whether avocado or ground flax or chia actually agree with me (baby steps) I also know the highspeed blender is creating lots of sulforaphane of these sulfur-rich brassicas… radical for digestion/brain (energizing)

Hi Dr. G, and thank you for all the wonderful support! A note about food sensitivities: I started to have TERRIBLE sensitivities several years ago: I would break out in hives eating just a leaf of romaine lettuce, or any food that wasn't absolutely fresh. A very clever allergy doc discovered my thyroid medication was giving me varying doses of levothyroxine, causing these strange reactions. As soon as I was changed to Levoxyl, it all settled down. Not for nothing, that is the only brand (so far) that hasn't had recalls due to impurities or inconsistent dosing, including the various generics and Armour. I have nothing to do with the company that makes Levoxyl, changing to that brand has truly saved me from some miserable reactions.

My doctor even had the nerve to say it’s because I’m overweight. I tried the hyper nourishment and in 3 days I had amazing energy! I kid you not! Coffee isn’t needed on this diet.
