Once again, absolutely first class Arbuckle! Drum Major Staite has been around a fair while..I remember him leading the Irish Guards in a march past the Queen Mother for her 90th birthday when a cousin of mine was in the Irish Guards band! He has amazing flair with his Stav when swinging the band for a left wheel...

This time it works again, no stops. Nice video, I love this kind of stuff. This year I made my first video's of military music, during the 4day marches of Nijmegen in the Netherlands. The video's were made in Wijchen at the International Tattoo. You can see them on my channel. Not as well as yours, because of the rain.

Sorry, "Sons of the Brave" was the second martial music played that I know for sure but can someome tell me the name of the glorious march played as the soldiers marched out of the barracks?. I has since become my all time favourite. Please,. no offence meant to arbuckle who does a great service.

The March being played as the band marches out of gate is not repeat not “ sons of the brave” I don’t know it’s name and I wish someone could let us know

The first march is ‘Europe United’ composed by Wilhelm Zehle.

Great Video. Has Drum Major Staite been promoted to WO Class 1 ? Looking at his right arm there looks like a coat of arms above the chevrons. Any ideas ?

Adelaide102 DMaj Staite isnt a WO1. He is The Drum Major Household Division. The only Drum Major that holds the rank of a WO2 is the Senior DMaj. The Current Senior DMaj for the year 2011 was WO2 Ben Roberts.

They're pretty much the same coats that were worn in the Crimean War. I personally think it looks far better with the webbing that was worn in the 1950s.
