Wen 6.5 Ton Electric Log Splitter Rewired for Foot Pedal

I've got exactly the same log splitter. I took mine and took the two wires that we're going to the motor unscrewed both the positive and negative from the switch, and just double them up on the other side of the switch bypassing the switch altogether. I didn't have to cut any wires. And if I ever want to put it back the way it was I just have to screw them back to the other side of the switch. Simple.

Not a bad way to go. If I am understanding you correctly, I think you simply attached both black wires to the right side of the switch and both white wires to the right side of the switch. I definitely think that would have been the way to go, now that you are saying it…. It seems so obvious 🤣😂 I appreciate the comment and hope it helps someone reading this!
