Gota love KZbin!! Try to teach someone something and low views. Now you know why internet coaches sell out 😂😂😂

Ha you need to do a stupid ass shocked face and a title like “WHY NEGLECTING YOUR OFF SEASON WILL KILL YOUR GROWTH!” I for one just came across your stuff last night and you helped my squat today. I appreciate genuine channels like this.

People are really that dumb. Don't appreciate a good thing. Would rather watch videos on how to add "200 lbs to your bench in 2 weeks" Of course the "wheel" guy giving the advice is always injured and will be done by the time they are 30....

I’ve kept a competition cycle my whole career as a fireman to ensure that I max at 100% one time a year. This allows me to maintain a high level of readiness throughout the year. I did the off-season manual this year then followed Matt thereafter, now I’m right on schedule for competition season! Wenning Strength and conjugate pave the way!!!

Thank you for this video sir. I just put my client back on bar work today after not having her touch one for a couple months after her first comp. I wasn't sure if it was the right direction to go but this video plus your bit on traning mileage you spoke about on Joe D's podcast (among other videos and content you've put out) solidified my decision. You're now one of the new pillars in the strength game, and your contributions are appreciated.

1) Start doing rehab work year round. 2)Learn to lengthen muscles under tension without going past the stretch reflex. This will strengthen tendons and boost joint health As per Phil Wharton 3) Cold baths. But not ice baths. We have known for over a decade now that the benefits of an ice bath are greater if you just cool the body instead of freeze it. 4) add in sauna too if you can - we know the science behind this as well. Just make sure to lie down in the sauna or your body gets stressed out a bit trying to reach equilibrium temp 5)Sleep more. In order to sleep more get exhausted via : 6)do more cardio in the off season. You don't have as much direct power lifting load - you can afford to do more cardio. If you are on PEDs then swimming is the best option followed by incline walking if not on PEDs then you should be able to do some easy pace LISS jogging for a good long while after you get the hang of it. Cardio will keep you leaner. It is not about calories. You can never outrun a big caloric surplus. It is that the cardio keeps you healthier and triggers hormone signalling and improves hormonal function and gives you a lymphatic massage and boosts endocrine system health and improves sleep which all lead to lower stress levels, better hormone levels and thus body regulates to carry less fat automatically. Body changes gears into a state where it prefers to carry less fat. This is adaptation to having to perform so much cardio - body will get lighter just so it doesn't have to work as hard - and it will drop fat first (until about 8%bf or so)

So try about conjugate too because the past year or two I could barely ever get any DOMS anywhere I mean I have a lot of years in training which is part of it for sure but it’s nice to feel even once in while. Well few weeks ago I finally got an SSB bar and this would actually be my first time ever under one but wouldn’t ya know bam there’s those DOMS-not extreme but at least I feel alive again lol! Growth is showing already as well it’s quite invigorating!
