4:40 - I don't think that's true, I farm, and plants show their deficiencies, so if a plant isn't getting optimal nutrition, you can visibly see it in the form of spots, yellowing, rot, etc.. You don't really see healthy produce that's low in nutrients. I'd still take a multivitamin tho just because as a farmer, I see the importance of Macro and Micro nutrients.

I have D-vitamin, multivitamin, extra zink and magnesium (multivitamin have those but..). In sweden the government made companies that make milk put d-vitamin in the milk. We dont have so much sunhours, and since I started taking 2x recommended daily intake years ago the difference is night and day. Magnesium is also very good.

I am coming up for 58.After a 14 month lay off from training,and consuming a lot of alcohol my progression has been quite rapid.I had a knee that gave on the leg press,which i have now quit,like the booze.this problem is rife where i live in central Scotland.The question is,afterbthe backgroun that i just gave is this.What is the opinion of other lifters on collagen,fish oils,and olso glucosamine for the 40 plus lifter with joint problems.I recall a time when i was doing the loading at the Celtic nations.After the event was over i go in toe at a barr with the Irish team.1 was in my prime back then-3.5 plus body weifht deadlft-3rd in Brition.I wa talkig to a Irish lifter who was 60 years plus.He told me that glucosamine sulphate got him not judt training again but had got him back on the platform-160kg i recall he benched that day.So the long story short-with my bio background is what is the advice of other lifters out there on the supplements mentioned for joint health.Thaks for any reply/advice given.Best wishes from Scoland.

Late to the party but thjs is good stuff. Matt - I noticed your other video talking about kidney issues and stem cells. Hope that’s been helping. You left out creatine here - is that why? I am thinking about stopping creatine. I know that yea yea it’s the safest most studied supplement but I’ve heard from many it has negatively affected their GFR and amount of protein / albumin in urine. Would love your thoughts.

There is no reason a person can't get enough fiber from food. Unfortunately most people don't. Also zinc and magnesium can easily be consumed through food. The best absorption rate I have seen in any study on supplements is roughly 15%. I am not saying some folks won't benefit from supplements but that is a lot of money per month that a lot of people can't afford. I would like to see more fitness influencers learn more about food sources to provide that information to those who need it or can't afford supplements
@WenningStrength2 жыл бұрын
If you can’t afford supplements - your problem is way bigger than what I can help with Quit wasting your time with studies - any high level school will show you the holes in those bs papers - especially pertaining to nutrition and exercise. Don’t like the info?? Don’t be on the channel. But calling me an influencer is a slap in the face. I’m highly educated- and experienced. You have been warned
