Went Paragliding, Found Mushrooms

Imagine going for a hike and fly and finding 450g of the most coveted spring mushrooms! Lesson learned: always bring a knife with you!

I sell medicinal mushrooms for a living, so can't wait to see more along with your extraordinary flying. I'm a PG5 based in Australia and fly an Omega X-Alps 2. I often parashroom around August and October in North devon. Nothing better than landing in a fairy ring and filling your helmet!

Why do you fly with a climbing helmet? Im just surprised to see many pilots making videos and its such an obvious flaw in their decision making. They are designed for rockfall directly from above, this will do nothing in even a slow speed crash. And you are a role model! Please stop! :D

I only fly with this helmet when I'm doing hike and fly as I do them in very specific conditions: early in the morning, light winds, no thermals. The only danger I face in flights like these is tripping on take off, and this helmet should do. To be honest, my only concern when I fly with this gear is the string harness and landings! But as you can see, I choose open landing fields with no rocks or obstacles. Thanks for your concern, though! :)

@@joannadigrigoli 👍 but we only have one brain so take care of it! 😁 supair etc make super light helmets so there is no excuse. I know you calculate the risk but when people see this it makes it seem acceptable for any type of flying, and they just copy.
